Max entered the school scanning every detail this amazing place had to offer! For once, something made him forget about his troubles and tragic events. He was more focused his mind on what was around him. As he headed down to reception to check in, he noticed it was very quiet.
"All the students might already be in class", he thought. Suddenly, he heard a woman with a funny accent attempt to get his attention.
"Um...excuse me! Hello? Can you hear me?" It was the Receptionist.
"Oh! Um... yeah." Max went shy quickly. It was a while since he communicated with a person properly after the things he went through.
"You must be the new kid. Come here then, and I'll show you to your class" she said fed up. As if she has already done this before and tired of her job.
"Oh miss it's fine! I'm his tutor for the day. Leave it to me". A stranger said behind him. He looked smart and confident. He must be a good student at this school.
" Oh thanks Alex! I believe this is Max. He's new to this school and only just arrived". Alex looked at Max and gave a cheeky smirk on his face.
"Welcome to Pinwood High Max!" He hand his hand out, waiting patiently for Max to shake it with his own. Max just gave a shy look and quickly shaked his hand, which for him seemed to be lasting forever. How embarrassing and awkward this situation was. "Follow me! I'll show you around." The stranger opened the reception door with his tutor pass and waved the receptionist off. "Oh! Names Alex by the way." Max said nothing. He didn't know what to say, it was making him realise how long he's been stuck in his depressing room all month.

After a while, Alex had shown Max around and lead them both to their next class. They stood outside the class door. "You'll do great! Be brave." Alex encouraged Max. As He left through the door, Max followed behind him. The teacher told him to sit next to his tutor and ask for help if needed. Max scanned through the room, trying his best to spot Alex's desk. It wasn't long until Alex waved his hand, letting Max's eyes quickly realise where he was. He walked slowly through the class desks with his tiny body squeezing through the gaps of the chairs. He dropped his bag onto the floor and sat down with his possibly only friend at this time.

At the end of class, Alex and Max had talked loads through the lesson and already became really close. Suddenly, Max noticed a figure standing right by him with her hand on the desk. It was one of his new classmates. She had her hair tied back in a strong tight ponytail and her top button undone nearly showing her bra.
"Well hey there handsome! Couldn't stop looking at you through this boring ass lesson!" Max was confused.
"Vanessa leave him alone!" Alex snapped, like he knew she was up to no good.
"Wow, rude! All I wanted to do was to talk to him." She said with attitude as she was winking at Max.
"Yeah right, 'talk' to him! That's all bullcrap! You just trying to get his number!"
Max quickly grabbed Alex and evacuated the awkward conversation. They decided to walk home together and forget about this weird girl 'Vanessa'.

While walking home, they talked about their interests and had fun telling eachover stories of good memories. All of a sudden, Max had been thrown to the ground by a tiny push. He wasn't sure what had just happened until he looked up and saw a person on the floor in front of him. He was also on the floor. As his vision got clearer, he realised it was a girl. She was pale like snow, but beautiful. She was wearing a white summer dress and her lovely long brunette hair covered half her face.
"Are you alright?" Max asked worried she was hurt while in a hurry somewhere. He offered his hand to help her up.
The girl stared at him in shock. Her eyes looked confused and frightened.
"Y...you can see me?" She asked while shaking.
Max was confused " Um, yeah I can." The girl stood up by herself and wouldn't let her eyes go off of him. It was like she was questioning something in her mind.
"Dude, who you talking to?" Alex asked while looking at Max as if he was an idiot.
"I'm helping her up. What else does it look like?"
"Who? Look I need to get home ok! How hard did you hit your head while tripping over?"
Max was beyond confused. He was sure he didn't trip over, this girl had ran into him.
