Max ran to the cherry tree with his rusty bike. He parked near the Cherry Tree and searched around. Anna was sitting on the ground.
"Max, what are you doing here?" Anna asked as she stood up and gave him a confused look. She softly strokes his cheek examining his red bloated eyes. "Have you been crying?"Max didn't say anything and just wrapped his arms on to her."Max? What is it?" She asked while hugging him back.
"I don't ever want to go back! I don't want to be there anymore! It's not fair! Why did she have to leave me with that monster?" He cried. Anna wiped his tears away. Max told her everything. They sat down and she listened to every word. She felt bad for the suffering he was going through and the pain of his Mother's pass.
"Anna, you are the only person I know now. The only one I trust. Not my father. Not my best friend who betrayed me, it's you. I had to come see you, I miss you." He confessed. She payed her head down on his shoulder, slowly reaching for his hand and holding it with her pale skin.
"Your not alone Max. I'll be your guardian angel. Everything will be fine. I promise." She told him as the Pink petals continued to fall. This may have been a strange connection and friendship, but it was a strong one. They had each over and that's all what mattered to them.
"Anna, I bought this for us." Max held up his guitar.
"Can you play? That song, the one from last time. Can you play it again? You strum it so well!" She begged.
"The Elvia Presley I cant help falling in love with you?"
"Yes."

Max slowly started strumming. His fingers only lightly touching the strings. She cuddled up to him and hummed the melody.
"Could you sing?" Max asked her.
"I could try, I haven't sang well... looks like the last time I ever sang was when I was alive."
"This was my mother's favourite song. She would play it at bedtime to tell me how much she cared for me."
"You must of loved her so much. She seems like a very wonderful person Max! I know where you get it from now." She smiled at him and it made him pop out a little smile on top of all the depression he was suffering. Anna started singing the chorus. Her voice matched his guitar perfectly. They felt so content and comfortable. It's almost as if she wasn't dead, and was a real living person. Rather Max was blessed or is losing his mind, he is happy to have her by his side.
