It was early in the afternoon. And Max's Dad had fallen asleep. He grabbed his bike helmet and had his guitar case used like a backpack on him. He was going to meet that girl again. There was no way he couldn't! She was so beautiful, her voice was so high pitched but in a stunning way. And her long hair would always get in the way of her face when she would blush at him. Max already felt like best friends with her. She was the best person in his life, after the tragic state he has been bought through. He also wanted to find out why he could see her. Is she really a ghost? Is he going mad? Is she real? What her name? And does his Mum's death have to do with this? Hopefully he will find answers.
On his bike, he almost ran over a blonde young girl with a sassy outfit and glamorous pink high heels. She was very noticeable. It was Vanessa.
"Well, look who I have here? Did you come to see me hot face? Hehehe!" She laughed at the end of her sentence. It sounded like a very cheeky laugh to him.
"Sorry, gotta go um.... Vanessa". He put his foot on his peddle ready to burst out of this mad girls way. She wouldn't leave him alone!
"Wow! Jerk! You would think your Mom taught you manners!" Max was shocked by her words. But listened as he rode off. He was offended. His Mum would of taught him so much more if she only could! It wasn't her fault for her pass.He finally made it at the Cherry tree. And there she was. Wearing the same outfit he had seen her in but somehow looked even more beautiful the more he saw her! The scenery and landscape of the school and field was calm around them. It seemed like the world was in slow motion when they were around each over.
"You came back! Just like you promised!" She smiled at him.
"Of coarse I did! I wouldn't miss it! Last night was incredible. If this is all true and not my imagination, I hope it lasts forever." He smiled back. Then he took a deep breath and looked straight into her bright, colourful wide eyes. "Can...I hug you? Is it possible for me to even feel a ghost since I can see you?" She blushed more than a hot kettle. It covered her face and she clutched to her dress.
"I...don't know. But we bumped into together when we first saw each over. So maybe we can." They looked at each over, and both reached out for there hands in the air, and felt each over. It's not like Max imagined at all! His hand didn't go straight through her, it touched her and he could feel her cold skin. But for some reason it was comforting to feel. A tear rolled down her blushing cheek as she felt his warm hands. So tender and so much warmth. She hadn't felt warmth in years, and took this as a blessing to her.
"I haven't touched anyone in centuries! This is incredible!" She teared up even more. He kept his other hand where it was and used the other to brush off the tear from her cheek. Her face was also cold.
"Don't cry...I can see and feel you. You won't have to be alone anymore." As soon as he whispered those words to her. She hugged him tighter than a rope would. Feeling his guitar and his Jacket. "You wanna hear me play?" He asked her.
"Um... sure!" She said while cleaning up her face with her small tender hand. He played his Mother's favourite Elvis Presley song again. And she loved it. They just sat beneath the tree, listening to the sweet guitar chords and slowly falling in love with each over.
