Max has just moved to a different high school after his mother died from breast cancer. He will soon learn that his new school holds some dark secrets, and is distracted by a beautiful girl wondering around the school. But.... only he can see her?
That night, Max stayed up for the whole night spending it with Anna. He had to soon figure out where he was going to sleep tonight, he felt a little bad and depressed to know he's abandoned his only home. But he didn't feel homesick. Not at all! And never will, for once he could maybe sleep properly without his physcho dad around. But still Max felt bad for him, after all it is his own father. He hugged Anna goodbye. "Thank you for being there for me." Max grabbed her tight. "No problem Max, it makes me feel happy seeing you! It's hard to see millions of people walk past you and ignore you." She said. Being dead was very lonely and boring. And very questionable and confusing. But at least she had Max. And Max had Anna.
Max packed his guitar, waved goodbye and left round the corner to go to the shop to buy lunch. He had to spend it wisely since he had only £200 in the wallet. He needed to save up to stay the night somewhere. As he walked to school. He found a not in his locker. It was marked with Alex's signature: "To Max, Meet me at the rooftop after school! I wanna tell you something personal that means a lot to me.... -Alex".
Max was still mad about what he did. And that whole dating Vanessa. Surely he could of done better. All day he debated himself back and forth wether he should go. He thought to himself why should I go? Alex has treated me like crap behind my back! However, I could always break our friendship off at the roof. And just end it there, he doesn't want me anyway since he has his new girlfriend! What 'Personal stuff' would Alex want Max to hear about anyway? But Max chose to go anyway, not for a reason but out of curiosity. This could be a perfect moment for Max to expose Alex of what he did.
After school, Max headed to the rooftop. Alex was standing in front of the school barrier looking at Max as he walked up to him. "You wanted to talk?" Max said, but half way through his sentence Alex had reached out to hug him. He never hugs. "Ahh! Good ol Max! I knew you would come to me Bestie!" Alex said in an excited manor. "Alex what's going on? Your acting strange." "Me strange? Ha..." Alex started laughing randomly. It sounded like an insane chuckle. "Oh don't worry, your pathetic face won't be shown at this school again!" He suddenly told Max in a deep serious voice! Suddenly, arms were wrapped around his body. A figure was pushing him towards the edge of the rooftop! As he was fighting off, it was Vanessa trying her best to pull him over. Max was able to scratch her eye out and she let go. Screaming in pain! However while trying to run and escape, Alex had stabbed a knife in his arm and it had sent him over the edge! He was dangling himself by his other arm! Alex appeared in front of him and grabbed his arm as he was slowly sliding off the edge of the highest drop on the building. "How dare you scratch my beautiful love's face! You shall pay fool! You are nothing to me!" After that he let out an evil demonic laugh. "ALEX HAS SHE DROVE YOU CRAZY? WHAT ARE YOU DOING? HELP ME IM GONNA FALL!" Max screamed as his arm bled to death. "Never." Alex said as he let go. Leaving Max to fall deep. Very deep, onto the concrete floor. There he was, on the ground helpless. A puddle of blood surrounding his body. Anna witnessed the whole thing and left the Cherry Tree to run after him. She flung her arms around him sobbing. Begging Max to wake up.
