Maybe This Explains It?

I stay rested up against Papa as he carries me into the bedroom. I don't even think it had taken me long to fall asleep but the nightmares were hellish. The smell of burning flesh turned my stomach, it was actually getting stronger. I drop to my knees coughing and gagging as my eyes water. I look up at the blood red sky and watch as fire balls fall. My stomach clinches then I remember Emeritus. I don't exactly remember how but we had got separated somehow. I slowly stand up then take off running stumbling over the bodies and rubble. ''Emeritus!" I cry out as I keep running then I spot him, he want bent over and being whipped. I watched in horror as he screamed and blood trickled down his back. From what I seen the whip had huge barbs on the end. I could take watching another second of it. I close my eyes and step back until I end up falling back, as I brace myself for the impact I suddenly jerk awake. Covered in sweat I look around the room trying to catch my breath. I glance over to see Papa still sound asleep and for some reason it really pissed me off just to see him all peaceful and here I was unable to get any fucking sleep at all. I groan as I get up out of the bed. I slip my black night gown on and grab my robe and quietly walk out the bedroom and go into the living room and sigh as I sit down on the couch. I just break down as I sit back into the couch. I didn't know what to do, I was seeing it now and this obviously something that shouldn't be ignored. I look over at the large clock on the wall. Eventually I pass out. I was able to actually get a decent amount of sleep this time around. "Pandora?" I quickly open my eyes and look at him. "Emeritus? Damn it you should really exercise for more caution when waking me..what are you thinking?" Papa looks at me and cocks his head to the side. "I am thinking why is my wife sleeping out here on the couch and not by my side, that is what I am thinking my dear." He caresses over my cheek but I jerk away as I stand up. "Do not touch me Emeritus!" I watch as his expression changes. "What is your problem Pandora?" I roll my eyes. "You damn well know what my problem is! You completely dismiss my feelings! I am having nightmares and you are too damn egotistical!" I shout as I walk to the bedroom. "Well I am going above you. I am taking matters into my own hands and I will gather the congregation or a meeting!" I say I drop my robe onto the bed then take my night gown off.  "Oh right Pandora, you expect them to all believe you over these night terrors you are having? You are opening the doors for criticism from the others!" He shouts as I zip up my dress. "Then let them criticize! At least I done my duty and warned our people!" I say as I fix my habit. "Pandora, I don't know how much more reassurance I can do here." I just groan as I walk past him. "It just shows who actually cares about this Clergy." I mumble as I open the door and walk out into the corridor. I could feel my blood pressure raising with each step and I just wanted to knock the living hell out of him but I didn't I just kept walking. However I started to feel a bit light headed, I just figured it was my blood pressure. It only took a few more steps though until everything went black. When I wake up I slowly look around the bright unfamiliar room. I groan as I hold my hand up over my face a bit. "What the hell..Emeritus.." I say a bit confused then it hit me, I was in the medical wing. Papa runs to my side and takes my hand, kissing it over and over. ''My darling I am so glad you are awake you gave me such a scare. Especially in the condition in which you have been diagnosed." "C-Condition I have been diagnosed? Emeritus what the hell are you talking about?'' The nurse looks over at us with a smile. "My dear Mama Emeritus, I am pleased to inform you that you are expecting." My eyes widen as the whole world just seems to stop for a few minutes as I hear a loud humming in my ears. I turn to see Papa who has a wide grin. "W-We're pregnant?" I say quietly. He nods frantically and pulls me in for a tight hug. "Yes my darling we have a little one on the way. The antichrist, the heir. Oh my the has finally came." He says in a proud tone as he places his hand on my stomach however I was trying to catch up. "Emeritus..w-what about the dreams-" He cuts me off with a kiss. ''All hormonal, we can dismiss it my dear nothing to worry about. The dreams, the mood swings, you passing out all due to the pregnancy my dear." I place my hand on his as I sigh. "I still feel you are not listening to me Emeritus." He gently cups my face. "Oh but I am my dear, now and forever especially now since you are carrying our child. You will be placed on a pedestal." He kisses my forehead. I quickly shake my head. "No no, I want no special treatment here okay Emeritus nothing changes." He nods. "Alright fine then but when would you like to make the announcement?" I feel my heart accelerate as I zone out a bit then take his hands.  "My darling, lets just give it a few days as I believe we need a few days for the news to set in for ourselves. As for now lets just go for a nice walk in the courtyard."
