As the weeks went by no one had any certainty of what the future would bring. I couldn't even see a future for myself anymore. I sat out in the garden, enjoying what I could of the warm evening air. There was a gentle breeze that made it even better. I sat back on the bench out in the garden and closed my eyes as I rested my hand on my stomach. "You're getting so big and strong..mommy and daddy are so proud of you." I gently caresses over my growing bump as I sighed happily. "Mama?" That voice quickly bringing me out of my moment. "Ah Sister Imperator." I say as my cheeks began to turn red. "Forgive me, I did not see you." "No need to ask for forgiveness as you were having a moment with the little one, our future blood line." She gave a smile. "Such a precious time for the both of you, however I feel a serious discussion must be brought to your attention." "I believe we have had more than enough discussions. Papa and I aren't even talking much and it's really taking a toll on things." "My dear you must listen to me, you and Papa need to make things right how can you expect to put things to right when the words between the two of you are harsh?" I let out a sigh as I stood there with nothing to say as I knew she had been right. What more could I say, I placed my hand on my stomach as I felt the small movements within. "You're right, the arguing will do nothing more than push us further apart. I will go and speak to him with hopes of restoring the future." "He is in the chapel, I wish you the best of luck my dear." "Thank you, let us hope that luck will be on my side. Not only for the sake of myself but the sake of all others. " My tone lowering as I walked off, thoughts now over taking me. This would be awkward, we had hardly spoken but every day I felt like we were living on the edge just inches away from being pushed over. There was no meeting, but maybe that was a good thing. Could a positive outcome even come from such a thing? Now that is where I placed my doubt. I walked into the monastery and smiled at the sign of life, the sense of community here had been beautiful. "Hello Mama." One of the younger sisters had stopped in front of me. "Hello my child, is there something I can be of an assistance with?" She looked at me but only for a moment then shook her head. "No Mama." She said before taking off once again. Once I made my way I stood outside the large door as I heard something, I stopped and pressed my ear against the door only to hear someone playing at the piano. My heart began to flutter as I closed my eyes and smiled. Hanging on to each and every note as I gave a soft sigh as I stayed motionless until I heard a voice from the other side of the door. "Please come in." "Hello Papa." "Ah there you are." The hint of emptiness hit me harder than I would have liked to admit. "I had a feeling you were the one outside the door." I cocked a brow. "Oh how so?" "The lavender." "Lavender?" I asked as he stopped playing and turned to face me. "For now the baby is of pure intent." He said with his thumb lightly brushing against my stomach. "Emeritus my dear..I hope you can forgive me.." "What is there to forgive? You tried to warn me and I have done nothing more than cause problems all on my own stubbornness. Forgiveness is all that I can simply ask for." "You already know that I forgive you, we have to come together fighting will accomplish nothing." "Except for make up sex.." He says in a low tone as his mismatch eyes look up at me causing me to melt. "I believe we could work something out." "Oh is that so?" I ask as I watch him stand up, my arms wrap around his neck as we continue to hold our gaze. "Oh believe me it is." "Then what are we waiting for." "Lets make this quick." His hand brushed against mine before finally he had taken it and lead me to our room. "Finally some relaxation." He mummers as he pushed me against the wall. "So much time to make up for things..and I couldn't think of a better night." "A night to put the fight to an end my dear for tonight we become together as one." "Couldn't have said it any better myself darling." He mumbled as he began to kiss my neck. "Emeritus.." I ran my hand over the silk fabric of his suit. The rest of my words were inaudible as he carried me to the bed. "The nations will crumble before us my dear." He whispered as he slid my panties down. "Your confidence..don't allow it to turn you into a fool." "Never my dear." He whispered against my lips just before sliding his tip in. His thrusts starting out slow as he looked deep into my eyes , in that moment I remembered why I fell for him. Why I found such protection in his arms, why each and every touch made me come undone. However it left me to wonder what the future would hold.
