With most any legal trouble comes what is called court cost, fines & restitution. Well sometime not exactly sure of the month. But I was walking into our local court house in Marion Co. to pay off what me and my fiance both owed including court cost, fines & restitution. I never mentioned how my fiance got charged anyways she was charged with Trafficking In A Controlled Substance 2nd. Simply, because her cousin was knocking at our door and wouldn't stop while I was putting my shoes on. So I asked her to answer the door so he would stop.

So, when she answered the door he handed her a sum of money and the task force had been across the street doing loose surveillance. Her doing something as small as taking the money he was giving me to go get him OxyContin. Well, that was all it took for her to be indicted.

I always tried to make sure she wasn't involved at all for reasons like this. Of course I Wasn't aware the task force was across the street watching either. Nor was I aware something this small would get her in trouble.

Anyways, back to the court house we go the total owed was $2000+ dollars between the both of us. The winds on this particular day where upwards of 60-70mph. I made my way into the court house and was releaved after taking care of the restituition.

As I made my way around the corner of a building in Downtown Lebanon close to where I always got my haircut by one of my childhood friends sister. As I was making my way back to the car, a business sign with dimensions of 6ft long by 4 ft wide and a 1/4 in. thick came lose from the building and hit the sidewalk laying flat.

Almost as soon as I thought to myself "You better get on the other sidewalk before that sign comes up and hits you" Instantly the sign was carried by the high powered winds off of the sidewalk, MY guess it had to be traveling at least a speed of 20+mph. When It came at me I guess by reaction tried to stop it I'm with my left hand, it may of slowed it down but surely didn't stop it.

I was knocked out cold and bleeding everywhere, I was a few feet from my barber shop the drug me into the shop and sat me in the barber chair until the ambulance arrived. A nurse from the street said "Oh honey, it's not that bad you'll be fine" my response was not nice but don't tell me I'm fine when I was scared I would be disfigured for life. I said "Bitch, how the fuck am I going to be fine when I have a 2in. gap in my face"

At the hospital I was not only highly medicated with IV pain medicine, MY fiance had probably given me 20 Valium 10mg. My mom not out of meanness had called the hospital and strictly instructed them not to give me pain medicine to take home after surgery. A 6'5 specialist who was rolling me down the hall told me what my mother had done. I started cussing this man who was minutes from sewing me up, like it was his fault.

Who in there right mind would be mean to someone who was about to do something as serious as see there entire face up.

Anyways, it took a total of 5 Hours to sew me up, I ended up with 400 stitches in my face, 30 in my hand.

The good part about all of it even after cussing him this specialist did such a good job, as of today you can hardly even tell scar wise this horrific incident even happen.
