15 years later

It was a rainy day in Clovelly and the Blue Moon pub was completely packed with fisherman. The sky's were grey and the wind was strong.

Elena was standing behind the bar as her twin sister was sitting on a stool and looking around the pub, eying the men within.

"Hmm" Katherine moaned in approval.

"Kat, quit it" Elena demanded, scowling her twin.

Kat turned around looking at her sister with innocence "what?" Kat asked.

"Do you have to make yourself out to be a trollop" Elena wondered, wiping the bar clean.

"Oh Elena, just because your sister let herself live a little" came the annoying voice of the one and only Klaus.

"Shut it Klaus" Elena growled at him, earning a laugh from his behalf.

Klaus wriggled his brow at her, "someone's feisty today"

"Go away" Elena groaned, grabbing some glasses from under the counter.

Klaus wiggled his finger disapprovingly, "now now, that is way to treat customers" klaus gave her a smug grin.

Kat had enough of the two bickering, "Klaus go back to chasing and bedding girls it's what your good at" Katherine offered, facing the blonde fisherman.

Klaus faked a sulk, "maybe I want to spend time with my childhood friends"

Katherine sighed at him, "we stopped being friends as soon as-" Katherine was cut off.

"Don't even think about it" klaus growled lowly which scared the girls.

"What is with this nonsense" Elijah bellowed at them as he came to the bar, Kol on his heals.

"Klaus is being a pest" Elena told the brothers.

Kol walked up to klaus and slung an arm around his neck, "I've seen some pretty brunette a that require our attention" Kol wiggled his brow at him.

Klaus gave him a satisfied grin, "lead the way"

Klaus and Kol walked off to the other side of the bar when they met two average sized brunettes.

Elijah shook his head at his brothers and looked at the twins, "my apologies ladies, they should know better" Elijah apologised to them.

"We know" Katherine smiled at him, batting her lashes at the brown eyes man that has always captured her eye.

"Well I'm off to the hospital, duty calls" Elijah waved, walking out of the pub.

Katherine sighed, "isn't he dreamy, his eyes makes me want to claw them out just so I can keep them"

"Your weird" Elena laughed at her.

She was running as fast as she could with her boy clung to her back.

She had to keep running, it is only a few blocks away and she is able to make it.

She needs to find a safe place and lose him, she needed to make sure that he can't find her.

She never told him about this place, he won't find her.

Her head is pounding from where the threw that glass at her. Her head is going fuzzy, her vision is blurring.

"Mama you can do it" her boy called but it was to late, her head collided to the ground, her boy landing on her back.
