          Arriving to the home of Josef and Amara Vulchanova it was a big mansion almost like a castle Katerina loved this place she hadn't been there in forever her dad didn't really get along with her granddad Josef over the notion that Tatia's sister Nadia married muggle Jason Greene because he was pro pure-blood and wanted Josef to disown Nadia causing a rift with Tatia and her family. Katerina with her parents she noticed the silence between Granddad Josef and her dad Katerina said "Granddad do you still have owls?" he said "Yes, many of them" she said "Perhaps you could show them to me I find them quite fascinating" Tatia said "Katey why don't you run along Granddad Josef will meet up with you" she read her mind she said "Yes, mom" she walked off. Katerina with the owls she said "I'm 18 years old and they still treat me like a child, like I don't know what's going on all I ask is truth and all I get is secrets, I must be crazy talking to owls" Josef said "They're good listeners" she turned to see him there in the doorway he a humble man, tall and slender he said "Katerina, you've grown into a vision of beauty spitting image of my wife Amara". She saw tears whelped in his eyes she walked up to him and wiped them she said "Granddad I must ask, what did my father do to cause a rift between you, mom, and Aunt Nadia?" he said "Katerina" she said "I'm a legilimency granddad" he sat down on a bucket he said "You probably heard of pure-blood ideal in your school learning?" she said "Yeah" he said "Vulchanov is a pure-blood family a very powerful family more than the sacred twenty-eight families and your father is of pure-blood as well but your Aunt Nadia married a muggle which goes against the pure-blood ways and many would disown them like The House of Black does to be ignored but Nadia is my daughter and her children are my grandchildren I won't ignore her and them Nadia's husband Jason Greene is good muggle he plays chess with me every Sunday when the girls go out and we garden together as it turns out he does have some magic in his family it's been forever but he's a good human being". She said "My dad didn't see to reason?" he said "Yes, it broke my Amara's heart to see her girls apart because of that reason" she said "Granddad, you're not some hardcore pure-blood fascist?" he said "No, I'm not because of Vivian and Kate they are half-bloods and I love them just as I do you" she said "My boyfriend would like you granddad, he rejects the pure-blood ideology too" he said "Well, then he isn't bad".

          Tatia in the mansion in the living room with John she said "I remember the last time we were here Katey was 9 years old and all was grand and being here now it's just a vague memory so much time lost" he said "You're mad with me" she said "No John, it's I missed seeing my mother before she died that's all" he said "Tatia, it's not my fault". They greeted by Josef and Katerina she noticed her mom was upset with her dad she said "Mom are you okay?" she said "Did you enjoy the owls, Katey?" Josef said "She did, just like her mother and her aunt" John looked away he said "Katey dear would you accompany me to the carriage to fetch the bags" she said "Yes father" they left. Josef walked up to Tatia he said "Katey, she has the gift doesn't she?" she said "You mean the legilimency?" he said "No, the phoenix fire?" she said "I warned her on the consequences of it how one loses their self within it" he said "She'll be fine, she mentioned her boyfriend" Tatia said "What boyfriend?" he said "Huh, seems I know more than you do." Tatia said "She was dating a Lucius Malfoy but he broke up with her before her last term at Hogwarts" he said "He wasn't worthy of her, Katey can't be tamed by him" she said "Tamed?" he said "She's a wild mustang or a phoenix that can't be contained, so much like your mother". She said "I must ask looking back now would you allowed me to marry John?" he said "Given everything really? I would say no but then we wouldn't have Katey, she's the best thing that came from you and John despite it all" she said "That's what I thought, over the years I thought about leaving John but never going through with it" he said "Katey is 18 years old an adult perhaps it's time you think for yourself" she said "Yeah I know it's just coming to terms with it". 

         John getting bags down with Katerina she reading his mind she knows something is up he said "Katey, you must know I love your mom so but I think we've outgrown our marriage" Katerina said "What do you mean?" he said "I'm your father but I think I should realize that I've ruined your mother and you". She said "Why would you say you ruined me?" he said "I'm the reason you didn't see your grandmother Amara before she died and you not being around your Aunt Nadia because of who I am and my strict believes and I think that's what caused Lucius Malfoy to break up with you" she said "I admit I was upset but I've become a different person over the past year but you didn't ruin me" he said "This trip is my present for you and your mother because when it's over things will change for the better". Katerina in her room at the mansion she couldn't help but worry her parents may be heading for divorce then again her mom has always been better by herself than with dad she walked outside to the gardens she followed a pathway to a table and chairs where granddad Josef was drinking coffee he said "Katey, what brings you here?" she said "Granddad what's going on with mom and dad?" he said "What do you know?" she said "Are they heading for divorce?" he said "Seems that way doesn't it, well what do you think?" she said "Dad knows he's to blame for everything but why don't they try to work it out?" he said "They have, you just haven't seen it." She said "So what now? They just split up or what?" he said "Who knows, Katey what do you want to do in the Wizardry World?" she said "I haven't gave it much thought but I'm not worried because I think being a housewife would work out fine" he said "Housewife?" she said "I think he's the one" he said "Really? Does he know it?" she said "I think so, I was planning on meeting up with him today" he said "Invite him over, I'll judge him?" she said "Granddad?" he said "He has to be worthy of you?" she said "Fine".
