Lemme just say, I friggin love whoever made that! Its so fucking cooooool!! :D I'm a dumbass

Y/n POV

"I told you I didn't trust them" Jack smirked, breaking the silence.

"Well, they fixed the tire, didn't they?"

"Yes but they were both dicks. How could someone thinks its okay to do that to someone?" Jack scoffs.

"Mama dropped them on their head a little too much" I joke.

"I wouldn't doubt it" Jack chuckles.

My eyes fall down to our interlocked hands. A soft smile grows on my face. Jack is right next to me after a year of not seeing each other. We're actually talking again, like nothing in eleventh grade happened. No anger is held, no grudge is kept.

My phone rings next to our warm hands. Jack grab it before I could and read that Mark is calling.

"Its Mark" He smiles.

"Gimme the phone!" I laugh, glancing at Jack.

"I'm driving"

"So?" I smile.

"Driver is in charge" He smirks. I roll my eyes and He answers Mark.

"Hey" Jack paused "No Mark-"

Jack began laughing and a look of pure confusion grew on my face.

"He hung up because he thought he called me instead of you!" Jack laughs. I giggle and my phone begins ringing again. He answers it and sets it on speaker.

"Yes, Mark?" Jack speaks.

"Jack?! But I called Y/n!" Mark yells "Adam! Did you change my contact names again?!"

A faint "No" is heard is the background.

"Then how-Oh my fuck! You're with Y/n aren't you?!" Mark asks, excitedly.

"Merrrrrrk!" I yell.

"What?! Why didn't I know about this?!" Mark asked, followed by laughs of excitement.

"I didn't want you to get excited and tell her" Jack explains.

"Mia brought him down as a surprise" I smile.

"How long you staying?" Mark asks.

"A week" Jack replies "Its only my second day here"

"We went ice skating yesterday with Elijah, Carter, Mia, and Abel" I smile at the memory.

"Oh?" You can hear the smirk in Marks voice.

"Mark" I warn.

"Fine, whatever" Mark chuckles.

"So how are you and Amy?" Jack asks.

"Never been better!" Mark chirps "She recently died her hair pink and it looks amazing"

(I know its been like that for a while but OH WELL XD)

"You should die your hair pink again to match her" I smile at the idea.

"Yeah, go back to the high school look" Jack giggles.

"Jack you still have your high school look!" Mark yells "You can't say anything!"

The three of us erupted into laughter.

"I said I was going back to brown soon! You can't say anything either!" Jack giggles.

"Too bad because I just did!" Mark speaks in a high pitched voice.

"Oh no you didn't!" Jack copies Marks voice, snapping his fingers.

(I wish I had friends like this😂)

"Girl, I will come over there-Adam! Hold my damn earrings!" Mark yells.

"Um...what?" Adam laughs in the background.

"Y/n, record me beat her ass!" Jack yells, a huge smile on his face. I'm wheezing for air at this point. These two can never fail to make me laugh.

"Hey, Mark. We gotta go. Call ya later!" Jack  hangs up before Mark could say anything.

He immediately hops out of the car. I follow him but when I get out, he ran off. I sprint after him but he soon disappears. My eyes dart around only to see trees surrounding me, not a McLaughlin in sight.

Slowly squeezing in between trees, eyes open and ears listening for any small sound that could be him. My hair slapped the side of my face as I turn around at the sound of a small snap. A small stick falls from a tree above. I look up and realize it was a squirrel. I sigh, turning back around to look for Jack again.

Another memory from high school floods my mind. When Jack and I were at the park and he ran off. I ran after him but couldn't find him.

I stopped in my tracks when I remembered what happened. In high school he came up from behind me. He might be planning on doing the same thing. A smirk slowly grew as I stand there, eye scanning for a bright green head. Nothing. Not a sound to be heard, not a person to meet my sight.

I continue walking in a direction, possibly getting me more lost then I already am. All I see are trees and leaves, nothing more, nothing less. It was quite. The only sound to be heard were the birds or the squirrels jumping from tree to tree.

A faint ding of a phone was heard and a whispered curse. I whip around and scan the area. No Jack. I began walking towards the sound, looking in every spot I could see. A piece of green hair stuck out. A grin appeared on my face as I quietly walk towards it.

I soon come next to the tree he was hiding behind. I peek on one side only to be met with his back, slowly walking up behind him. His breathing was slow as he sneaks a look from the side of the tree, looking for me. He cursed under his breath when I was no where in sight.

"Lookin' for me?" I speak, making Jack jump and turn around.

"You scared the shit outta me!" He lightly punched my shoulder.

I laughed and punched him back. He laughed and tackled me, bringing me to the ground. We rolled around, wrestling each other. No one was around to give us weird looks. Even if there were, its not like I would care.

Jack stopped, hovering above me. Smiles were shown on both of our faces. Jack held my fists down so I couldn't try anything and sat on my waist, keeping me down. His breathing was heavy as it blew against my face. His eyes were as blue as ever, staring into mine.

The beating of my heart sped up as I noticed he was closer then before. My face reddened as I realized what might happen. We were inches apart and all I wanted to do was close the gap between us. All I had to do was lift up my head and it would happen. I could feel his breath blowing on my lips. The sides of our noses were connected. Neither of us moved, just sat there and waited for what was to happen.

Jacks hands released mine as he sat up and off of me. A wave of disappointment washed over me as he lied down next to me as if nothing happened.

And nothing did.

Nothing happened.
