NOT WHAT IT SEEMS

RIELE

"Hey Riele".

Looked up from my script as my friend walked in.

"Oh hi Ella". Adjusting my position to make room for her, she plops down next to me.

From the look on Ella's wandering eyes I could tell she noticed the few changes to my room.

"Nice"

"Thanks. It was Sean's idea". 

Placing a thoughtful nail on my cheek I wondered aloud.

"Although I wasn't so sure when he first suggested it, but hey, it came out pretty cool" I concluded with a shrug.

"Speaking of, you seen his new video yet?"

"Oh yeah I have. Pretty cool".

After he and Ella got back from their camping trip he's been pretty much MIA.

From me specifically.

At first he'd asks me to play lead female in his videos but I turn him down each time to keep Jace from going Tarzan on him- again, so I opt instead for a supporting role each time but now I'm not even featured. It's so unlike him to just... just...ignore me.

"Right? He looked sooo good with Cree. The chemistry was just sooo.. urgh!" Ella interrupted my thoughts.

She was acting weird. It's almost as if she was trying to... nah. Pwuuff. She couldn't... nah. 

"So you're coming for the.." she asked halting to signal last part and going to take over my bed.

"Ella do not place those shoes on my bed".

"I wasn't gonna".

She said it but I don't believe her and gave her a look to let her know.

"So... "

"So?"

"Will you attend the-"

"Nope"

And before she could voice her thoughts I beat her to it.

"And no it's not what you're thinking. I have a photoshoot with Riya"

"Huh".

"Yeah. But I hope you guys have fun"

She pouted and was in the process of protesting I assume but will never know. Jace burst into my room causing Ella to yelp and jump so high my mouth hung open.

"Why aren't you even scared right now and why do you have to come in like that?!" she fumed catching her breath.

"Cuz she's used to it and I am her boyfriend".

Even if Jace hadn't replied I would have been still too stunned to say anything.

"Shorty you still got your mouth open. Riele? Riele.. Come on snap out of it".

Ella rolled her eyes at me.

"It wasn't even that high. And anyway it's your boyfriend's fault!" she poutily adds when she saw my really face.

But before I could say a word I felt lips on mine.

"Ewww ewww ewwww guys! Come on am still here and technically am still a child so don't corrupt me!"

I would pull away but someone refuse to give up my lips.

"Gross. This would be cute if my bestie wasn't exchanging germs and making me wanna puke " she continues in a disgusted shiver.

Jace groaned in annoyance finally releasing my lips reluctantly.

"Stay" he warned my lips looking at them obsessively. And he was- obsessed.

At a shocked expression from Ella he raised a questioning eyebrow at her.

"What? they're mine afterall"

Making us both roll our eyes at him.

"Yours?"

"That's what he says" I dismiss.

"And it is" he reinteretes, going ahead to prove it, kissing me so deliciously I forgot Ella was in here with us and gave in.

"You guys are disgusting, bye"

Before it could fully register and I managed to detangle from Jace,  Ella was hurriedly putting on her discarded shoes.

"No Ella wait don't leave yet". 

"Nope. I'm not staying here to be witness to whatever kinky weird stuff you've both got going on". She pointed between Jace and I grabbing her bag.

I went for a hug but she drew back "Huhhuh, no. Later"

"Finally she left. Aw! why'd you smack me?"

"Because you know why! You did that on purpose".

"Yea yeah" he says grabbing me.

"No Jace am still mad at you".

"Don't care" he says placing me on my bed and hovering over me.

"You can be mad but my lips love me"

And they really did because when he stole them with his-the one on his  face, I forgot that I should be mad at him for deliberately sending Ella off and brushing me off.

Please bear with me guys. It's one thing to have an idea and another to be in the perfect disposition to bring it to life.
