NOT WHAT IT SEEMS

Jace, Reile, Sean

"As I was saying, weee-" Dan continued dragging the we whilst giving Reile and I the skank eye once more. 

"-will be giving our viewers what they've been thirsting for...ehhh but, but but but," he dramatized with spread arms, "there's a little twister".

Now he got everyone's attention with that. Fans have been really passionate about wanting Henry and Charlotte together and finally Danwarp the great was going to grant their prayers. I think.

"Jasper and Charlotte together!"

"What!"

Dang it!

That outburst from Jace caused me to choke and spill drink on my - Charlotte's clothes!

"Dan why would you put my-aw! Riele come on!" Jace grumbled leaning forward to grab on his stumped foot.

"Tell us how it's gonna go Dan" I said turning narrowed eyes on my boyfriend whose still nursing his foot under the table.

"Well yes, so we all know Jasper is clueless..."

"I think Dan's idea is great. It'll be like an ironic satirical suspense y'know".

"A suspense to what?"

"To like.. make them think,...what if Charlotte's date with Jasper would go wrong and then she runs crying to a jelly Henry and then... " Jace's face changes from confusion to understanding as he grabs my hands.

"Yea yeah yeah, it'ill put fans on edge and then they start second guessing and coming up with ideas, all of which of course leads to Henry ending up with Charlotte" he laughs shaking his head.

"Stop being smug Jace I bet my money on Chasper" someone interrupts from behind. 

"Owen no one's betting on that". Jace grabs a cracker feeding it to me not once turning to look at Owen.

"Oh, we all are" Ella bounced cheerfully into the snack room.

"Huh, seriously?" I swallowed wiping crubs from Mr. Clumsy in front of me.

"Uhuh. Reile, everyone's betting on if Dan's gonna end you up with Sean or Jace".

Boy, was she excited.

"Jasper and or Henry and it's Charlotte" I corrected. "who's gonna end up with either".

Ella simply shrugged smug smirking with at me. "Same difference".

I stepped back to grab a bottle of water as they waited by the door.

"So people are really digging Dan's idea yeah," Owen went on.

"The fact that he won't tell anyone who between both boys ends up as Charlotte's love interest is receiving the reaction he wanted is-"

"Oh my God!"

"What?!" I yelled catching up to them

"Is that Sean?" Ella gasped

"Kissing Anna?" Was Jace's somewhat confused addition. 

Well, that got a reaction from me. Staring with a mixture of confusing emotion at the sight of Sean and her surprised me.

An emtion I  pushed aside hours later in other to concentrate on the script we were going over in said person's room.

"Ok, so after Jasper and Charlotte had dinner at the Dunlop house whilst both waiting for Henry to get back from the mancave, she comes out of the bathroom, trips on one of Jasper's scattered buckets but get caught before she hits the floor. Henry walks in then, assumes stuff, and angrily leaves. Jasper comments-"

"You smell really nice Charlotte. Can I smell you?" Sean takes his cue with the Jasper voice.

"She gives him her famous look but Jasper smells her anyways pushing his nose more into her neck for an uncomfortable amount of time"

"Ok that's enough crazy for a day Jasp" Reile in Charlottes voice

"Jasper pulls away for a second looking at Charlotte before in his usual blurt he says,"

"Wi- will you go out with me?"

"Shocked Charlotte looks at her best friend in confusion"

"Saywhatnow?"

"Am sorry but I really really really like the way you smell!"

"Then you can have my soap"

"Charlotte sarcassed with an eye roll still trying unsuccessfully to detangle from him but he insists"

"Please go out with me Charlotte please please please. Just go out with me".

"Charlotte rolls her eyes once more at the ridiculousness when she couldn't free herself from his hug"

"Fine"

"She groaned"

"Thank you thank you".

"Ye -"

"Can we do this another time?" Sean interrupted again reverting to being Sean as he stood up.

"Sean we need to be familiar with this before table read. Where are you going?" I argued also reverting to my normal voice. 

"Leaving".

"With Anna?"

He paused from his packing to give her a confused stare.

"What is it to you?"

"I never said it was something"

"Neither did I say that".

She sighed going to stand beside him trying to ease the tension

"Sean I know I hurt you but thi-" I stopped at Sean's laughing.

"What's so funny?"

"You Reile. It's funny how you think you're that important" he stoped giving me a narrowed once over "so important that my actions should revolve around what never even happened between us". He chuckled.

"Then what's with this attitude?"

"This attitude Reile, is what you get. When you got here I told you I was busy but you insisted".

"Yeah but we-"

"Reile we'll do this later. Right now I can't keep my girl waiting".  he said grabbing his bag to go.

"Reile I have to leave".

Still not used to this side of Sean she left in a daze.

"Jace man see ya latter"

"Yeah man" Jace stopped to meet his fist half way.

"What was that?" He turned to his girlfriend.

"Honestly don't know" I watched him take the final turn down the corridor.

"Well, Anna's doing a good job".

"What do you mean?"

"He's looking chipper".

"Yeah" Reile said looking at me. Hugging her to me as we walked opposite Sean's direction. "Yeah he is and am happy for him".
