Riele And Jace

Issabella went out with a reluctant Sean but Jace hasn't said anything since then. I couldn't stand the silence.

"Are you going to say something?"

"What do you want me to say?"

"Whatever it is you wanted to say".

"I have a lot I want to say". He came closer.

"Then say it. You don't want to?" I asked when he kept on shaking his head.

"I do so much, but I just don't know how to tell you". 

Closing the gap between us I took her hands. God, she had the prettiest eyes.

But isn't it so with Issabella?

No. I don't know, maybe?

But there was just something about Riele's. I just can't explain.

"Riele the reason I reacted that way was cause I- "

"You were... "

I can't say it.

What if she rejects me? Besides there were two people outside I didn't want to know. Instead I hug her very close. "I'm sorry "

This isn't the first time we've hugged but for some reason why did I feel this was different?

"It's ok Jace". If it was possible he hugged me closer when I rubbed his back comfortingly.

"No it's not. I really messed up".

"You try". I laughed at his snicker.

We broke apart and burst out laughing.

"Best friends again?"

"Only if you keep your promise". He frowned at me.  

"Which one?"

"You're hopeless Norman".

"That's why I have you Bolton". 

"Argh! You're lucky I love you".

"Or what, smug faced? "

He paled and his smirk disappeared when I whispered to him.

"Alright! I'll buy you treats, don't have to go there".

"Good. Now I want a piggy ride. You have to earn your keep".

He scowled. "How long are you using this against me?"

"As long as I want Jace, now giddiup!".

"Fine".

Am so glad Jace and I are cool and the gang is back together. Now I can breathe ok.

"I really missed this guys". Ella said resting on Jace.

"Missed you too little sis". He got a threatening stare.

"But the next time you make Riele sad, you better hide!"

"Wouldn't dream of it. Now quit messing around".

"But I haven't for so long". She whined with a poppy pout.

"Ella"

I laughed when Jace huffed and let her at it.

Yes I missed us together.

Which reminds me. "Where's Sean?"

"Why?". Is Jace actually serious now?

"What do you mean, 'why'?". His shrug just annoyed me more.

I turned to an actual person. 

"Ella, have you seen Sean?"

"No one has". Cut in Owen. He was one of the crew.

"But as soon as he shows up, tell him Dan wants to speak with him". 

"Ella scrunched up. "What about us?"

"You guys too. But it mostly concerns Sean. So please let him know".

"We'll do".  I rushed before Ella could say anymore. He left quickly throwing me a thankful smile.

"What, am not that bad!"

"You do have your Piper moments Ella". Jace pinched her cheeks.

"I do not!" She huffed.

"Yes you do". He tickled her.

I was too distracted to pay attention. 

"Riele!!"

"Sheesh guys, my ears!".

"We wouldn't have to yell if you replied. The first dozen times".

"I'll be right back guys". But Jace grabbed me when I tried to leave.

"What are you doing?". He picked me up and carried me to the huge couch he was sharing with Ella.

"Time to visit tickle land!". 

"Jace no". But it was too late.

I had tears in my eyes moments later.

"No...more....Jace! Please... stop".  She begged between giggles. But I only stopped after doing it some more.

I loved the sounds she was making. I wonder how much I'd love hearing her make other sounds.

I made sure we were occupied for the rest of the day and best of all, Sean was MIA the whole time. 

Of course I knew she had been about to go after him. Not gonna happen. Not if I can help it.

I hugged her goodbye as we left the studio. She'll soon realise no one else can be good for her.

I didn't want to let go. I smiled at her confused look when I lingered after pulling away.

This boy has been acting really wiered with me for a while now. If he didn't have a girlfriend, I would be tempted to think he had a thing for me.

My eyes widened. I turned to look at his retreating back. Could it?

No. Had to laugh at that. 

Impossible.

But-

This is not some Jaele fanfic so stop it!

But the way he's been looking at me... shaking my head I head to my waiting ride. I was half way home when I remembered.

Sean!

Well there you have it. The fight is over but a new kind has begun.
