Well, I'm on a plane to visit Conner and Mom. I'm not super thrilled about the trip. I haven't seen them for so long, and they completely forgot about Grandma and me. Maybe, this won't be so bad, but who knows?

The fairytale world had been defending itself to the best of its ability. With its advanced technology, the armies should've been able to hold up by itself, but it was crumbling before the FAT's very eyes. They landed at the Fairy Court House front steps. A cannonball hit the side. The group jumped in sync. They looked up at the floating Jolly Roger. Its canon was aimed right at them. Captain Hook and Smee stood on the deck of the ship. Hook had a very satisfied look on his face as he twirled his mustache with his hook. He imperiously sauntered down the steps onto the main deck. He leaned over the balustrade.

"YOU'VE LOST!!" Hook roared. "THE FAIRYTALE WORLD IS MINE!"

"Oh, no it's not," Emeralda snapped. She and the rest of the Fairy Authority Team shot magic lightning bolts at the ship. "Alex, Conner, aren't you going to help us?"

Conner glanced at his sister, "What is she talking about?"

"We're half-fairy," Alex replied quickly. "I'm just not sure how we are going to help? I mean, I've never done magic, and neither has Conner!"

"Put your hands out in front of you, and think of something dangerous to shoot at the ship," Xanthous explained.

Alex squeezed her eyes shut, and aimed at the flying ship. She opened one eye, and said, "Conner, come on. You've got to help us!"

"There is no way we are actually fairies," Conner replied. He definitely not going to add his real species to his Wikipedia page.

"Just try, please."

Conner moaned and did the same as his sister. Alex counted down from three. She and Conner both shot beams of fire at the ship. Alex opened her eyes. The Jolly Roger was no longer hovering above the Fairy Court House; it had exploded. Pieces of ash and detritus fell all around them like snowflakes. Alex nudged Conner in the ribs.

"I told you so," she said with a smile. Conner grinned sheepishly and rubbed the back of his neck. He walked over to Bree. "You may not tell the media about this."

Bree laughed, "I won't."

Arthur jogged over to Alex and smiled broadly, showing off his pearly, white teeth. He scooped up Alex and hugged her tightly around her waist. Alex slipped her hands around his neck. She felt her body molding into his. Arthur was still smiling when they pulled apart.

"That was awesome!" he cried.

"I guess, I wasn't so bad for a rookie," Alex replied playfully with a returned smile. "So, what now?"

"That's what I was thinking," Arthur said softly as he leaned closer to Alex. Her heart pounded in her ears. At first, he moved in fast, but then, everything seemed to move in slow motion. The world was spinning around them as Arthur's lips gently met Alex's. Alex looped her fingers through the belt straps of Arthur's jeans, pulling him closer. He smelled like clean laundry. Softly, Arthur slid his hands around Alex's waist. When they pulled apart slowly, they both wanted more. Now, they didn't care what was doing happen, just that they hope they would stay together.

"Maybe, we should go home," Alex answered finally breaking the comfortable silence.

"Yeah, let's go home," Arthur agreed.

Alex, Arthur, Conner, and Bree said their goodbyes to the FAT and the literary characters. Alex secretly hoped that she would see them again.

A/N: Hope you enjoyed the chapter! It's short because I'm in a rush but I got one in!! -Flora
