Epilogue

The Miami Airport was packed with tourists from all over the world. It was clear who were tourists and who was not, by the people shrieking and pointing at the palm trees outdoors. 

"Mother, look! It's a PALM TREE!"  yelled a little girl, tugging at her mom's dress. 

Alex admired the tourists as she walked through the airport with Arthur. It had been so long since she'd been back and she was happy to see all the familiar scenes...

 She was delighted to have her grandmother meet him. Before she and Arthur left Los Angeles, Conner made a promise to Alex that he wouldn't forget to send money, to Alex's delight.

 He even sent money right in front of her, and Alex couldn't help but almost cry. Her brother had changed so much since the last time they had been at the airport. Bree decided she would stay in California with Conner for a little longer before going back to Miami, which made Alex giddy with excitement because she knew that they liked each other. 

When Alex and Arthur got outside after the arduous crusade to find their baggage, Alex's grandmother met them at the car loop with her usual warm smile and happy wrinkles at the sides of her sparkly blue eyes. She hugged her granddaughter tightly and smiled even bigger at Arthur. Finally, Alex was happy and found a boy who wouldn't break her heart. 

"Did you have a good time?" a twinkly feeling in her Grandma's eye, Alex had a feeling she knew what they'd been up to. 

Alex nodded, grinning widely. "I did, Grandma." 

Arthur and Conner patched things up and became friends, where they both worked as lifeguards at Conner's hotel. When Arthur decided to move to Miami to be with Alex, Conner was upset, but he wasn't as much as Charlotte, who loved Arthur's chocolate chip pancakes. He graduated high school with her.

 He loved her with all his might and was glad she felt the same way. They went to separate colleges and made long-distance relationships work! They met up again afterward and dated ever since. Arthur planned on proposing soon, with the perfect ring and with Conner's blessing. 

Conner graduated high school as well and moved back to Miami with his sister and Grandma. He took up writing as a hobby at first, writing stories about all his travels. Then, he decided to make it a career and majored in English in college. Conner started dating Bree (who came back at the same time as him) and got engaged. They couldn't be happier. 

Sadly, the twins' grandmother passed away, leaving Alex big shoes to fill as heir to her title, the Fairy Godmother. Alex often visited the Otherworld but the Fairytale World was her home, where she received training from Emerelda and Violetta. Her Inauguration Ball was definitely extravagant. Conner even attended with Charlotte and they were very proud. 

Charlotte and Bob still live in California, working at the hospital, saving lives every day. 

And here our story comes to a close, everybody living happily ever after...

I can't even believe it...we started this account and story in May and now it's December...wow.
