Nick's POV-
I followed her into a blue and green bedroom. She looked me dead in the eye and asked one question. "Who was your father?" she asked. It wasn't as simple of a question as it seemed. "Steve Notch." I replied simply, remembering the things he had done to our family. Her eyes widened, she gasped slightly. "Jon..... I would like you to meet.... Your step brother..." she said, she looked like she was on the verge of tears. "What?" he was just as confused as I was. "Steve Notch, your father. The love of my life. The bringer of pain to all he touches." she said, her words becoming harsh. "But wouldn't that mean." he said, realizing something, "Nick, are you a monster?" I gulped. How? How did he find out? "What?! No!" I exclaimed. "Don't lie. Please, tell us. Your secret is safe with us." she pushed. I sighed, giving in. My eyes turned blood red and my fangs began to show. Jon's eyes widened and I saw his hair turn green and bunny ears appear. He was the prince? "I-I have a brother.... I have a brother!!!! Can you believe it Ma? This is amazing!!!" he exclaimed. "Wait 'Ma'?" I pointed out. Jon immediately started to pail. "He is your brother, he should know." Emma said to Jon. "Wait, I'm gonna guess. Emma is the queen of monsters and you are her son, but since she doesn't age you pretend you guys are siblings. And I have to help keep the family secret." I said, speaking specifically toward Jon. "Yes, and Ashlie already knows.." Jon responded. I nod in response. We quickly turned back human and headed back downstairs to enjoy the rest of the party.
Just to clarify, Nick kept his mother's maiden name, wanted to point that out to all whom are confused.
