Chapter 23

Cory's POV-
I woke up to the smell of pancakes. I walked to the kitchen and found Emma and Dawn sitting beside each other and Emma had her arm around Dawn. Jon looked confused, disgusted, and like he was going to laugh his head off at the same time. Nick and Ashlie were making breakfast. After everyone was awake and had eaten we sat in a circle in the living room. "So.... Tommy, Truth or Dare?" Ashlie asked, smiling. "Dare, I ain't no chicken." He crossed his arms. "I dare you to kiss," she looked around at all of us, "I dare you to kiss Jon." Tommy groaned, but he did it. "Emma, Truth or Dare?" Tommy asked. "Dare," she responded. He thought for a moment. "I dare you to call the first person on your contacts," he said, half smirking. She took out her phone and stared at the contacts before clicking one. She put it on speaker. It was ringing, and ringing. Eventually voicemail came on, "I'm not here, back off. Beeeeep." "Dang it, try anoth-" Tommy stopped. Emma was crying. "Whoa, what's wrong?" Uni asked. Jon looked at her worriedly. "I think it's time for you to go home," he said softly. She nodded and got up and left. "What was that about?" I asked. "It's complicated, let's just continue." Jon looked kind of upset. "Okay... Jon truth or dare?" Tommy asked. "Truth." He looked up at us. "What's your deepest secret?" Tommy grinned. Jon's eyes widened. "I think it's about time we play a different game," he said, avoiding the question. "Jon.... What are you hiding?" I asked. "He's not hiding anything," Nick cut in. "Yeah, we should probably play a different game," Ashlie joined in. "Are you three hiding something?" Dawn questioned, looking them up and down. We surrounded the three. Nick and Ashlie looked nervous, but Jon was panicking a bit. Then he grabbed onto Ashlie and Nick and disappeared. "What the heck?!" Uni yelled. "They just vanished into thin air!" I exclaimed. We all just sat down in confusion.

Nick's POV-
One second we were in my living room, the next we were in the forest. "I haven't done that in a while...." Jon muttered, he looked exhausted. "What did you do Jon?" Ashlie asked. "I think it's teleporting, I'm not positive though, I'm the first in my family to have power like this," he explained, making a bunny made out of energy form above him. "And it doesn't always work, I read in a book that it had to match your zodiac or something, but it doesn't so it only works when I force it to. And I've never done it with two extra people," he continued. "Interesting... You do realizes you really need to tell them now," I told him. He just nodded. "I have an idea of how, but I'm gonna need you guys to help." We both nodded, and he told us the plan.

And today I had Zodiac Legacy on the brain. Such a good series. I highly recommend. Stan Lee helped write it, it is one of the best book series's that I have read. I hope you enjoyed, my little monsters. TEC out!
