It's been about a week since the incident. Tommy has stopped killing monsters. Jon, Ashlie, and Nick have been looking for Steve, and Emma's funeral is about to start. You can play the song if you want.
Jon's POV-
"You should probably get going, Jon. We don't want you to be late," Ashlie spoke softly, she wore a dark dress with her hair pulled into a bun. I wore a tuxedo with a green tie, and Nick wore a tuxedo with an orange tie. "I'm coming, I just need to grab something." I walked to our music room, grabbing one of the newest CDs and taking it with me.
We went to the nearby clearing, where everyone else's graves were, a crowd had begun to gather. I noticed Uni, Cory, Dawn, and Tommy in the crowd and I smiled sadly. Then, a girl with dirty blonde hair and blue eyes walked up to me. "I'm sorry for your loss," she spoke softly, she looked like a teenager. Another girl with wolf ears and tail ran up to her. "Tena, why are you here? What if he sees you?" the second girl whispered to the first. "I think they need to know, Liz," the first girl, Tena, responded. The second girl, Liz, sighed. "Hey, I'm Tena and this is Liz," Tena introduced. "It's nice to meet you both. I haven't every seen you in the forest before," I respond, putting on a welcoming smile. "Well, I live in the town and Liz hardly comes out of her room, other then to meet up with me." Tena elbowed Liz playfully. "Tena? Why are you here?" Tommy spoke, standing beside me. "Oh... Uh... Heeeeey, Tommy!" Tena said awkwardly, taking a small defensive step in front of Liz. "Why are you acting so weird?" Tommy questioned. "You know Tena?" I asked him. "Yeah she's my cousin," Tommy responded. "I'm fine! Come on Liz it's time to go!" Tena blurted, grabbing Liz's hand and running off. "Well that was weird," I said, breaking the silence. "I'll ask her about it later, but right now you have something to do." Tommy gave me a sad smile. I nodded, walking to a small podium.
"Hello everyone, thank you for coming. You see, my mother was a genius, she demanded no respect, yet she got it anyway. When I was young she told me that everyone dies twice. Once when the bury you in the grave, and the second time is the last time that somebody mentions your name. She promised me that she would look out for everyone, whether they are monster, human, or hybrid. And with that I wish that you would all recollect her kindness, along with your own, because I know she wouldn't want us to mourn for her, at least not for long. We can tell her story, along with the rest of the seven." I pulled the CD out of my jacket, putting it into a small sound system. "The seven made this song when they lost their parents. I find it only appropriate that I play it now." (That's the song that is up top.)
And that was it. We talked, laughed, cried. Whenever I went back to our house, my house I only had one thought in my mind. "How am I going to ever live up to you....?"I AM SCREAMING OH MY GOSH I AM SO SORRY THIS COULDN'T OF COME OUT SOONER!!! I'm sorry for it being kinda random but I honestly have no idea what to do with this story. I don't have an ending in mind so how about we make a challenge? You guys can give me some ideas and whichever I like the most I will use and tag the person for credit. And for those who are super close to me and want to do this, you have to make it SUPER good, just to make it fair. Anyway, thank you for being so patient my little monsters! TEC out!
