"ok forceps" you demand
"forceps" Rhodes says as he passes you some forceps
"this is the easy part now on to the tricky part" you say as you remove the bullet from the man's side
"scalpel" you demand again
"scalpel" Will says as he hands you the scalpel you make a little incision opening the bullet wound giving you more access to the damaged area
"clamp" you say
"clamp" Will parrots back as he hands you the clamp. you clamp the area forcing the spilt to join together
"suction" you say because you can't see because of the blood
"suction" Rhodes parrots in the same way as Will as he places the device in the cut you made
"we are going to use the thinnest possible silk for the suture so can you pass me the 1.0 silk" you ask
"here you go" Will says as he gives you the silk and you stich the parts of the stomach together
"lets close 4.0 silk" you say
"4.0 silk" Will says parroting you again as he passes you the silk then you close the wound
"ok, we are done" you say relived.
a minute later and you, Will and Connor are cleaning up
"nice work (Y\N) how did you know to use thinner thread" Connor asks impressed
"well the thought accrued to me going through med school because our teacher said there was no point in using normal thread because it will further destroy the area" you reply
"hey (Y\N) you know how said wait for the real life when when in the simulator" Will asks
"yeah" you reply
"we will wait and see if he makes it or not" he says
"and lets celebrate at my place after the shift is over"
"ok we will" you and Connor say at the same time
