An hour later and you have finished operating on Jay and you are in the break room making yourself a cup of tea when you notice Will pacing back and fourth impatiently and you decide to ask him what's wrong
"what's wrong?" you ask
"well my brother said he would call me once he has done with one of his missions but he has not called yet" he replies with a lot of concern
"well there is a reason let me show you" you say and he follows you to trauma room 2
"I'm sorry I didn't tell you earlier"
"Look it's ok I knew it would happen but I didn't..." he cant finish his sentence because he has burst in to tears and you give him a loving hug to comfort him
"look Will if it makes you feel any better the bullet didn't hit anything vital" you say but that doesn't comfort him because his brother is unconscious and hooked up to a ventilator
"thanks for trying to make me feel better but it's all ways hard knowing that someone you love is injured" he says and then he starts crying again
"well I will leave you two alone for now just come and get me if you need anything" you say as you leave
Ten minutes later and you are at the centre workstation and you are reading some of your other patients' charts. Then Antonio Dawson walks up to you
"excuse me (Y|N)" he asks reading your name on your scrubs
"what can I do for you" you say a little confused
"Antonio can you tell me if you have Markus Pierce and is Jay going to be ok" he asks clarifying your confusion
"he should be in trauma room 5 and there were no complications so he should be fine" you respond
"ok thanks" he says heading to trauma room 5
A few moments later you decide to check if Will and Jay are ok
"Hey umm Will I have an idea that might cheer you up" you say as you enter the room
"ok tell me" he says enthusiastically "ok how about we go on another date and you can choose the place" you say
"I'll pick you up once the shift is finished and you are ready" he says instantly cheering up
"ok it's a deal" you agree
"(Y|N) what is Antonio doing here" he asks on a serious note
"well they think they caught the guy that shot Jay but I don't know" you lie because you don't want Will to have a lust for revenge
"anyway, I think I should go check on my other patients."
