he was different. he didn't care what people thought of him. and most kids at ryder high school found that insulting. guys hated him because he wasn't interested in partying or sports. he didn't like seeing how many girls can you hook up in a week without dating any of em. he loved acting and music. the girls despised him because he wore makeup. they thought to themselves "boys don't wear makeup." or "how can his parents let him be girly." But the truth was he just wore concealer to cover up acne.

and teachers didn't like him because he never paid attention in class but always got the highest test scores. it was also because of the name he wanted to be called starboy. he thought it was poetic in its own way. the guys birth name was finn wolfhard. at Ryder high school finn was classified as a freak. he was taunted, teased, bullied and looked down upon simply because of who he was and who he wanted to be. we met my freshman year. we became the best of friends. we even started our own clique, with josh, lucas, jack, Jaeden, sophia and wyatt. we became the freaks and geeks of Ryder . but we loved each other with all our hearts. finn and I began dating during our junior year. but we drifted apart during that summer because of college. but we still remained close friends then one day he told he had been offered a chance at broadway next year. he took the offer and became the new stage 'it' boy. during my college year I remembered when we laid under the stars, which were like a beautiful, surreal blanket above our heads. I could feel his heartbeat against the back of my head, and could hear the soft breaths of him by my side. That's when it hit me: Sometimes we are like stars- we fall to make someone's wish come true.
