You were hanging out with Josh, Lucas and Macy at your house. You had invited them because it was the last time all of you were going to be together before you head off to California to film your new movie. Growing up you loved making short films on your moms' cameras. They loved watching em, they called it "artsy" and "aesthetic", words you had no idea of what they meant but still you loved their feedback. You loved knowing you were making them proud.

By the time you were 7 you knew you wanted to be a filmmaker, and by age 13 you made a film entitled " clair de lune" which gave you lots of exposure to the industry. It gained lots of attention globally and it won you a Independent Spirit Award for best short film of the year and lots of other titles.

It'd be an understatement to say your moms' were proud.

Your new film " angelito " was being filmed in San Clemente, California and shooting started in a week, but you wanted to get in a week before so that you could meet the cast and crew and settle in.

Of course all your friends were happy for you and everything but they were gonna miss you a ton. Filming would take up a good 8 months then editing would take another 2 months. Then promotion for the film before it came out would take 3 months. Then after it premiered, it would be most likely that you and the cast would go a tour for meet and greets and panels. Dont get it wrong, you loved what you did and you were incredibly grateful that you were where you were, but sometimes you wished that you lived a more normal life with less drama, stress and unnecessary hate.

Anyway Josh and Lucas were playing video games while you and Macy were on instagram dm'ing each other memes. As you were scrolling through a viral meme page the doorbell rung, Macy looked up at you and said

❛What was that?❜ You rolled your eyes at her attempt to scare you.

❛Really, Mace?❜ She threw back her head in laughter as you got off your bed to go see who it was.

The pure white carpet was plush under your bare feet. Your room had white walls and green house plants everywhere. Your bedspread was a white ruffled comforter and you had little trinkets around your room from traveling around the world. Your awards were placed around your room on shelves and some on your desk.

You grabbed your phone off your bed and placed it on your nightstand, you stepped over Josh as he was sprawled out on your floor with a hot pink game controller in hand. The doorbell rung as you reached for your doorknob, it rung again multiple times and you and your friends looked at eachother wildly, Then someone pounded on the door aggressively. Finally Lucas said

❛I can see it now ❝Four Canadian teenagers home alone found dead after pennywise lured them away.❞, ❜ He ended dramactically. Macy chucked a pillow at his head.

❛Not funny dumbass,❜ You laughed.

Then all of a sudden someone knocked at the window...
