Hey guys, I'm bored and I figured I could write so don't get mad if it sucks! And yes, I say that a lot. What can I say, I'm a pessimist. Anyway, here's the chap!

Naru's POV

My body still felt tired and sore from Hawk's, Kakashi's and Kei's (Cat's), training. Over the last three weeks Hawk, Kakashi, and Kei trained me, each having their own 5 days max to train me so I had the other two days to rest my sore body.

Hawk trained me in Kunai throwing, stances and tricks for weapons. Since I'm a quick learner if mastered senbon and Kunai. Kakashi trained me in Taijutsu, and chakra control I've got really good chakra control, while Kei trained me on agility, speed and stamina. I'm way better in all three thanks to that. I suspect that Anko will probably give me a test of sorts and will be one of the hardest.

I woke up at 4 am in the morning to meet Anko, who's Anbu codename Snake, at the gates of the forest of death for training. I trudged tiredly to gate 44 where she told me to meet her. When I saw her she approached me as I stifled a yawn that would have been silent. She put out her hand. At first, I rose an eyebrow before I remembered I couldn't actually speak. Grabbing her hand I greeted, 'Mornin'' through my telepathy.

She just ignored me as she pulled a stick out of nowhere and hit my upper back with it making me give a surprised 'yell' and stand up straight, 'Ow!' I yelled but she once again ignored me, "Always be alert!" she warned before swinging to trip me but I swiftly jumped over it before getting into a defensive stance; she smiled slightly, "Good!" I relaxed a little bit more, still alert as Kakashi told me she does things unexpectantly.

'Are we just practicing taijutsu?' I thought as she walked around me as if assessing a piece of artwork, stick laying gingerly on her shoulder.

"Hmm...," she hummed thoughtfully. I rose an eyebrow, "What do you usually eat?" She asked.

'Huh?Um...,' I thought for a moment, 'ramen I guess.' She laughed.

"After this training, you won't just be eating ramen all the time," Anko explained with one eye open a finger pointing up, her other hand on her hip. I was just about to ask what we were doing but she cut me off as I opened my mouth, "Y'see I won't directly doing anything for you. Instead what you'll be doing is spending 72 hours in the forest of death, and you aren't allowed to go to your house in here, you'll have to make your own shelter. From scratch," She pointed to the forest behind her." I smiled brightly, "What're you smiling about? Everything in here could gobble you up in one second."

I smiled wider, creepily might I add, before looking in the forest, 'You think those, little animals can kill me?' I laughed, she sweatdropped, 'Okay, I'll tell them not to go easy on me since this is training,' I put my thumb and forefinger and thumb up to my mouth and whistled loudly.

Anko rose an eyebrow, "What did that do?" she asked before she heard a ferocious roar.

'That just told every animal in there that they can attempt to kill me. Keyword attempt,' I explained, 'I often train with them so we made a signal for when I wanted them to 'kill' me.'

"Just what is your personality?" Anko sweatdropped before sighing, "Anyway, you'll be in here for 5 days straight, then either you'll meet me in this spot or I'll never see you again, right?" she explained.

'I thought it was only three days?' I questioned, she smiled.

"Ah, see that's the thing. You're spending more time in there because you're arrogant when it comes to this ffores," she explains, I nodded in understanding. "Alright off you go!" With that, she picked me up and threw me into the forest.

Hokage's Office--Hokage's POV

I sweatdropped and laughed nervously as I watched through my glass ball as Anko threw Naru into the forest of death," I think that might have been a bit much," I sighed.

"What are you talking about?" Asuma, my son asked as he walked up to me and peered into the crystal orb resting on a red pillow on my desk, "Isn't that Naru Uzumaki?!" he asked incredulously. I nodded, "What is she doing in the forest of death? Shes only six?!"

"Hold on a second Asuma. Look at her expression right now. What do you see?" I asked as she got up uncaringly and patted the dust off her butt. She stretched her arms above her head.

"Uncaring and relaxed?" He admitted, confused how this little six-year-old blond girl could be so calm as she was standing in the forest of death. The forest most don't come out of, the forest that some jonin sometimes don't even come out of.

"Exactly," the Hokage started, "she's relaxed because that's where she usually is. Plus this is training for her right now," he finished.

"What do you mean training? She's only six, shouldn't she be doing something easier than this? She's not even a genin yet," The brown haired jonin asked.

"The thing is she isn't training to become a genin but a member of Anbu," Satutobi stated.

Asuma was quiet for a while before he spoke up, "An Anbu, huh..." He started calmly, "What!? How can you let a six-year-old become an Anbu!? She's not old enough for that!" Ahe ranted, worry evident on his face and in his voice.

it made the Hokage happy to see that his son cared for someone the rest of the village considered a monster, but was also getting agitated by his worried rantings, "Alright, calm down Asuma!" he ordered. His son stopped and looked at him, Hiruzen sighed, "She chose to be Anbu after giving her the option. She's safer this way and it will make her stronger so if she needs to protect herself she can. She agreed and I found four Anbu that know about her predicament and are willing to train her."

Seemingly okay with the pros and cons his son stopped bothering him about it and went back to what he was doing.

Back to Naru-Timeskip- Almost 5 days later

I was laying on the ground panting as I was running away from the enlarged species of the forest, 'Damn, you'd think they've never eaten before!' I yelled in my mind. 'Shhh..... I'm trying to sleep. I know you're training but do you have to be so loud?' 'Y'know what you freakin' lazy ass fox-' I started but was interrupted by a low growl from a black tiger prowls through the undergrowth, I 'grumble' while standing up, senbon ready. ' I'll argue with you later, right now I need to do something.'

With that the tiger pounced, I jumped up and flung the senbon into his neck effectively making him pass out. I sighed inaudibly before looking out at the sunset. Covered in a little blood here and there, sweat and dirt, I smiled widely and threw my hands up and landed on my back. I stretched before standing and took the senbon out of the trigger. I massaged the spot I embedded them in, soothingly. The tiger purred, knowing that it was finally five days until I entered the forest, and nuzzled into my hand. 'I need a shower.' I mouthed, the tiger agreed and I laughed silently before touching the place on my throat. I let alone tear slip out as various other animals came out and started to lay on me, 'Alright, alright I'll stop moping around, get off of me I think you're going to kill me. You're all sweet and lovable but you're really heavy,' I laughed silently again as the animals grumbled about how rude that was. They smiled their respected grins as my mood lifted.

'I really am loved... Human or not, these animals love me and I love them back,' the head of the forest, a majestic, multicolored tiger, walked up to me and nuzzled my face, 'I love you, guys.' They all 'Aww'ed back making me blush. I waved as I walked away.

I sighed as I remembered I was going to train more on Monday. 'I'm gonna, die!' I cried anime tears.

Sorry, I got a little off task there but I wanted to put in how close she was to the animals in the forest thought they probably won't be mentioned very much. I hope you guys like this chapter. Leave suggestions in the comments. Thx for reading, Fangirl6905 is out!
