Chap. 7: Graduation exams & Teams (E)

Before the recap; I edited this chapter a little so there are some changes but not big ones, mostly just grammar so if you've already read this then you don't need to again. Anywho, The next chapter will be their mission to the land of waves not to the chunin exams. I forgot about that mission when I wrote the A/N at the end of this chap. Enjoy!

I felt her shake slightly as she laughed silently, 'Same. You're good at messages too, better than me. I should get supper ready though so we can go to bed.' She got off of me and walked through my bedroom door to the kitchen, 'God forgive me but I can't help but love her...' I thought as I went to help her cook.

Two years later- Naru's POV

I smiled slightly as I locked the door to Kakashi and I's shared apartment. 'We're finally going to be graduating Kura-nii! I can't wait to go on more missions. Then I can ditch them and go on to my anbu duties instead of going to that stupid academy!' I spoke to Kurama in my mindscape as laughed at my comment, "For a second there you sounded like a Genin! I was scared that I had to get you brought to a mental hospital."

I Laughed in my head before continuing my walk to the academy. 'Who do you think will be on my team?' I asked him as my face went blank. He thought for a moment before deadpanning and sighing, "Probably a fangirl and some quiet emo kid." He answered I sweatdropped before crying anime tears. 'Why is life so cruel?!' I yelled in my mindscape before I heard a voice yell.

"Oi! Naru!" Shika yelled as he walked with his hands in his pockets with Choji next to him. I waved my hand over my head before running up to them. I grabbed both of their hands and pulled them into the academy, channeling a small amount of my chakra into their hands as I ran. "Troublesome woman...." Shika muttered as Choji laughed.

"You're full of energy this morning Naru." Choji smiled as I turned around, "Is it because you can finally do your duties and ditch the D-rank mission?" He asked with a smirk as we sat down in our seats with me between the two of them.

I slumped down into my seat and sighed dramatically, 'Oh my god yes!! I can't wait to go back to my Anbu duties! It's so boring to be a genin, I don't get how you guys can do it.' I smiled at the both of them.

Let me explain. I had already told them who I was because one day I came back from a mission a month ago and bumped into Shika who was hanging out with Choji at the time. Like literally bumped into them.

Flashback.

I walked through the village after coming back from a mission that had me killing an S-rank criminal who had been stealing kids and raping them. I was extremely pissed as I thought of the things that man did to those children. I was so consumed by my thought that I had bumped into a wall and fallen on my assThe wall had knocked off my mask. 'Ow...' I thought.

I froze when the wall spoke and sounded very familiar. " Naru..." I turned to said 'wall' Choji dropped his chips ad Shika had this look on his face that said 'You're telling us whats happening.' I sighed quietly and put my head in my hands. I turned around while putting my fox mask on, I looked over my shoulder and Waved for them to follow me. They both looked at each other, nodded, then looked back at me and followed me back to my apartment.

I opened the door and walked into the living room, "Hey Naru. Glad your back did you kill that bas..tard...." Kakashi trailed off as he saw Shika and Choji who looked at Kakashi in surprise as he was shirtless and had no mask on, just his dark gray sweatpants. He pointed at them and looked at me, "I'm guessing they found out?" He asked.
