Joe's POV
I wake up and go to the kitchen almost tripping a few times because I can't see where I'm going. The Duffer brothers told us to come in even earlier today so I had to wake up at 5. I walk into the kitchen and see Mona's keys no longer on the counter. She probably woke up earlier and left. I start to make myself toast when suddenly I hear the bathroom sink turn on. A few minutes later Mona walks out in a different outfit than the night before.
"Hey idiot," She says walking into the kitchen.
"Hey stupid. Did you go home?"
"Yeah, I woke up like an hour ago and figured I could quickly go back to the house and grab some clothes."
Ask her whether she wanted anything to eat which she declines saying that she already ate her breakfast. I ate my toast and then got ready while Mona waited for me on the couch. Once I was finished we head out and get in my car. Mona snatches my aux cord and starts playing old Disney throwbacks. The drive to the interview building was loud and interesting and consisted of us screaming the lyrics and occasionally getting a few wrong. As I pull up into a parking space I see Sandy getting out of a car across the street. By the time we get out of our car, Sandy's already making her way up to us.
"Hey," She says and I can't tell if it was directed at Mona or the both of us.
To be polite I say hi back and the three of us walk into the building. Today we have individual interviews which are the most boring because you can't laugh at the other cast members doing stupid things next to you. We all wait patiently for our names to be called in for the solo interview.
Sandy's POV
I was one of the first to get called in for the solo interview and I immediately get nervous that I'm accidentally going to say something I'm supposed to or reveal too much of the season. I walk in a greet the interviewer who wasted no time getting into asking questions.
"What has the filming process been like for you?" "Exhausting but incredibly fun."
"Who are you the closest with on set?" "Probably Natalia or Dacre.""Worst scene to film?" "I don't know if I can say," I pause to think about how to answer without spoiling anything, "Let's just say anything with sibling rivalry in it."
"Favorite movie?" "IT"
"Celebrity crush?" I shout out my answer before my nerves can get me to change it, "Um Joe Keery is a beautiful man," I say laughing thinking that hopefully, people won't take it too seriously, but that it'll still get my point across.
The interviewer looked shocked at my answer and thankfully had no follow-up questions. I walk out of the room more nervous than I was entering it. I sit down not knowing what to do next. The lady that interviewed me walks out and calls the next person whom she wants to talk to.
"Joe Keery"
Joe's POV
Finally, my wait is over and I make my way into the room. The interviewer shakes my hand and begins.
"Favorite book?" "The whole Divergent series."
"Favorite actor?" "Dacre Montgomery"
"Favorite Actress?" "Mona Mckormic"
"Your favorite child?" "A father can never choose his favorites," I pause for a second before saying, "Gaten."
"Celebrity crush?" I make sure to think about the question before blurting out an answer that will make me suffer for another year, "My good friend Mona Mckormic."
The interviewer smiled and stretched out her hand saying that that's all she had for me and I walked out of the room.
Mona's POV
I see Joe walk out with a smile and then I hear my name get called signaling it's my turn. I take a seat opposite from the lady and the interview begins. She asks me a few random questions, but most of them stay on topic with the show.
"What's the worst part about playing a hated character?" "People assuming that I'm actually a bad guy."
"Least favorite character on the show?" "Can I choose my own? Lexi is a horrible person."
"Favorite episode?" "Five."
"Who wanted to be a part of the show first? You or your sister?" "The Duffer brothers actually reached out to us and asked us both if we wanted to be a part of the audition process."
"Celebrity crush?" "Does it have to be a serious one? If not then I'd say that my idiotic best friend Joe is."
"Lastly, what should everyone look forward to the most about your character?" "She makes Steve angry and it's quite amusing."
I shake her hand before leaving the room, relieved that it actually went well. I go back out into the room which was full of people that is now empty except for the Duffer brother's, Joe, and a few of the kids. I walk back over to Joe and we laugh about some of our dumb answers especially about our celebrity crushes.
