I went to the store to go grocery shopping for Mona and I because she started to complain that our fridge was empty. As I was strolling through the aisles I somehow found myself in the baking section. I start looking through boxes of pre-made cake mix and decide to buy one of them hoping that Mona will be in the mood to help me make it.

When I get back to my house, I hear music blaring. I walk around to see where it's coming from and the sound leads me to the guest bedroom. I cracked open the door to reveal Mona singing while doing her makeup. I walk in and she turns around and stares at me and I see her face get red from embarrassment.

"Oh no don't let my presence stop you. Please keep going," I joke and she turns off the music.

"What did you get?"

I pull out the bag of cake mix and she immediately stands up and snatches it from my hands.

"YES!"

She runs into the kitchen and starts getting supplies ready. I pick up the box and read the instructions on the back to let her know what we need to do. Once we put away the rest of the groceries, we go back to the counter which had all of our supplies on it. We take out the cake mix and start pouring it into a bowl.

Step by step, we try our hardest not to mess up during the making of the cake. After we added everything we needed to the mix, I go and get a cake pan from one of the cupboards. When I turn around I feel a cold streak across my cheek and I see Mona pulling her dirty finger away. I look in the mirror and see vanilla cake mix across my cheek. I try to say something to Mona but when I look at where she was standing, I see that she's gone.

I grab a bit of cake mix on my finger and tip-toe around the house. I look into the bathroom and her room but I can't find her. I open my bedroom door and don't see her there but when I go to close the door, she comes up behind me and sticks her sticky finger in my ear. I whip around and manage to slide my finger across her cheek before she could run away.

"Are we even now?"

I walk back to the kitchen and stick my finger in the mix again. I walk up to her and she closes her eyes while I smear it on her nose.

"Yes."

She opens her eyes and give me a wide smile.
