Chapter 7

--Deadlox's POV-- (see told ya)

      I groaned waking up to the sunlight on my face in the early morning. I sighed and got up to get breakfast. My friend, and also roommate, Seto was already up and making some breakfast. "Oh good, you're up," he said bringing me some bacon. I nodded eating the amazing bacon. "Thanks," I said. He nodded in acknowledgment.

      I turned to see Jason, or MinecraftUniverse, walking in the doorway. "Hey guys," he said. I waved at him and got up after finishing my breakfast. "I'm going to go for a walk," I said. Seto nodded and handed Jason some bacon. I got up and headed out the door, wondering why Jason always had that weird spacesuit thing on. Seto and I had never seen his face, and we're his closest friends. We met a few years back...

     Flashback

      I woke up in my little hut in the woods, in the middle of the night when I heard a small explosion a little while off. I got up and decided to check it out. It took me a few hours to find it, because it was farther away than I thought it would be. 

      I arrived somewhere close to the explosion, because I saw the smoke. I saw a figure laying on the ground near a river. I walked over to him to see if he was injured, but I couldn't tell because he had an odd spacesuit on. 

      He groaned and woke up. I stepped back a little bit to give him some room. He rolled over, and I could barely see his eyes. They opened up to look at me, and he immidiately hopped up. "Who are you?" he asked. "My name is Ty, or Deadlox," I said, he nodded. "Do you need a place to stay for the night?" I asked him. He nodded and I started leading him back to my little treehouse. 

      On our way there, we ran into a kid who seemed our age, but slightly more mature, if you could put it that way. He was wearing a purple and black cloak thing, and his eyes and what we could see of his hair were brown. We walked over to him, and he seemed to be about to set up a little place of his own.

      "Oh, hi there," he said looking over to us. "My name's Seto, and what are you guys doing out here in the middle of the night?" he asked. I shrugged, "I followed the sound of that explosion, and followed it to find Jason here," I said motioning towards Jason. "My name is Ty, or Deadlox, by the way," I said after a short pause. He nodded, "Do you guys want to stay here for the night?" he asked us. 

      Jason and I nodded, "Sure, my camp is still a little while away," I said. Jason gave me a startled look, "What!? We've been walking for almost an hour!" he said. I shrugged, "It took me a few hours to find you where you were you know," I said to him. He sighed, and Seto handed us some extra sleeping bags he happened to have.

      End of Flashback

      I smiled a little at the thought, thinking about how we were now really good friends. I looked up at my surroundings, and I realized that I had strayed off the path while I was lost in my mind. I urgently looked around, trying to figure our where I was, when I saw a small treehouse.

      I smiled, running over to it. This had been my shelter six years ago, before I had met Seto and Jason. I was only nine back then, and I had never known my parents. I sighed looking at the inside of it, when I heard a rustle in the grass, I whipped around, feeling for my sword at my side, but I hadn't brought it. The last thing I saw was a man with a brick in his hand. He threw it, and everything went dark.

      I woke up in a small room. I looked at it's gray cement walls, and I saw the bars at the front of it. I was in a cell. I saw two uncomfortable looking beds, but I realised there was a person laying down on the other one. I soon realized the person was a girl. She had long, bluish black hair, a black shirt, and blue jeans. 

      She rolled over, opening her eyes to look at me. Her eyes were a reddish color, but I then realized she had a set of fangs barely showing through her lips. She sat up and looked at me. "Seems that I now have a cellmate," she said examining me. "My name is Maddi. What's yours?" she asked. "My name is Ty, or Deadlox, whichever you prefer," I said looking at her, she nodded. "Hey, where am I anyway?" I asked. She shrugged, "None of us really know, but it is a facility of somesort," she said. "It doesn't have a name other then that, as far as I know," she added.

       "How long have you been here?" I asked her. She looked down at the ground, "I'm not sure anymore, but at least a year or two, my parents gave me up to this place because they needed the money," she said sadly. I gave her a sympathetic look, but right then, a man in a labcoat walked over. He pointed to me, "Come with me," he said opening the cell. I looked back at Maddi, and she nodded for me to go with him, but she had a sad look on her face. I turned back, and followed the man into the hallway.
