--??? POV-- (More charries! Yay!)
My younger brother and I were walking away from a place where someone had had a temporary camp. Most likely from last night. I hoped we could ind these people, because it is getting dark and we don't have any shelter. My younger brother Ian and I had recently escaped our village. For some reason, everyone there went insane.
I looked over at Ian, he was only 15, I am 18. I hadn' told him yet, but I think there was a bit of that insanity tugging at the back of my brain. There had been a recent problem with our water source, and everyone had drank some of the infected water, even Ian and I. We hadn't had as much as he others in the village though, so I hoped we wouldn't become insane as well.
I gazed up towards the sky as we were walking. It was almost night time, and we still hadn't found any shelter. I sighed and looked back at Ian. "What is it Talia?" he asked. "Looks like we're going to go tree climbing again," I told him. He lowered his gaze to the ground. He was really hoping we could find someone to help us.
I looked around for an easier tree to climb, and we walked over to one. We climbed up to the top of it, and parkoured a little bit to a higher tree. We lay down in he middle of the tree so the mobs wouldn't notice us, hopefully. I gazed up into the now completely dark sky. It was beautiful, if you didn't think about the dangerous mobs that could get you killed.
As I was about to fall asleep, I saw an arrow whiz by, like a streak of light almost. (LOL see what I did there?) "Oh no," I whispered. The skeletons had noticed us. I shook Ian awake and pointed to the arrow stuck on the tree next to us. His eyes widened, and I motioned for him to be quiet. I wouldn't be as worried if we had any weapons, but we didn't. We had just escaped that village yesterday.
Another arrow flew past us, I didn't take any notice to it, until I heard Ian scream out in pain. I whirled around to face him, and the arrow was stuck in his right shoulder. I widened my eyes, examining the wound. I looked around to try and locate the skeleton, and spotted it near a bush, not too far away from the tree we were in.
I grabbed a few rocks I had picked up along he way, and started throwing them at the skeleton. It didn't do too much damage, but it distracted it from Ian. "HELP!" I screamed out, as loud as I could. I hoped that the people ho owned the camp we found were nearby. Just then, an arow hit me in the leg. I screamed out in pain, it hurt worse than I remembered.
A little while later, I heard footsteps coming our way. I peeked over the edge of the tree, trying not to move my leg. It still hurt too much, and I was losing a lot of blood. I saw someone about Ian's age, maybe older. He was wearing sunglasses, Notch knows why he was wearing them in the dark, and he had a black and gray suit thing. The last thing I saw, was someone in a spacesuit flying by. My vision began to get blurry, and the were dark spots forming. Then everything went black.
--Jason's POV--
We got ou weapons together as soon as we could. Sky had his budder sword, Ty and I had iron swords, and Mitch had a bow and arrow. We were the only ones going to find out what that was. We rushed to the source of where we had heard the cry for help. Soon after we left, we heard a cry out in pain.
We ran even faster now, Sky running the fastest out of all of them. I honestly didn't know he could run that fast. We soon arrived where we had heard the scream, and right as I got here, I heard a thump from on top of a tree. I used the jet-pack on my spacesuit and flew up there. I saw a boy about my age, and a girl who looked about eighteen. The boy had brown hair, sunglasses, and we was wearing black pants and a jacket, with a blue shirt underneath.
The girl also had brown hair, but she was just wearing some tattered blue jeans and a blue hoodie. The girl had an arrow in her left leg. The boy had an arrow in his right shoulder. There was a large blood stain underneath both of them. They had probably passed out from the blood loss. I looked down a the others, and they were fighting three skeletons. I grabbed the boy and carried him to the ground.
After they had finished fighting the skeletons, I carried the girl, bridal style, back to our base. Mitch and Ty helped carry the boy. When we arrived, we were greeted by Seto, who widened his eyes, examining their cuts. "Bring them to my tent, I have some cloth we can use for bandages," he said. He brought them over to his tent, and he motioned for us to leave. I grabbed the bloody arrows from Seto, after he pulled them out, and left the tent.
I looked back at Seto's tent to see, what looked like a purple light, seeping through the holes in the flab of the tent. It soon died away, so I shrugged it off. I walked back over to the majority of the group, and Sky was explaining wha had happened. I gave them the details I had found when I came across the two people.
After explaining everything, I heard footsteps approaching. I turned around to see Seto walking towards us. "Looks like they will be fine," he said. I'll have to admit, he did look a little more tired than he was earlier. For a second, I thought I saw a small purple glow in his eye.
--Ian's POV--
I woke up with a start. I looked around, and saw that I was in a tent. The last thing I remembered was being hit in the shoulder by that skeleton. I looked to my left, to see Talia out cold on a blanket. I looked over to my right shoulder to see the damage done, but I didn't see anything. All there was, was a cloth wrapped around it, and a faint purple glow. The glow soon faded, but I was curious what it was.
I looked back over to Talia when I heard her groan. She had he same type of bandage on her left leg, just right above her ankle. It had that same faint purple glow. I began to get more curious about what it was. Talia woke up completely, and got up and looked at me. "You alright?" I asked her. She nodded, "Yeah, you?" she asked. "I'm fine," I responded.
A few minutes later, some guy with a purple and black hood and cloak sort of thing. He probably was the one who had bandaged us. "Good you're awake!" he said in relief. I nodded, "Where are we?" I asked him. "My groups' soon to be base," he said. "We have been traveling for a while, and we finally found a spot to build our base," he explained.
I nodded, "So," I whispered. "What was with the glowing on the bandages?" I asked him without Talia hearing me. His eyes widened. "You... You saw it?" he asked. I nodded, "Yeah, what was it?" He sighed, "I hoped you two wouldn't see it," he said. "Only I saw it," I whispered to him. He sat back a little in relief.
Just then, a guy with green and black headphones on walked in. "Hey Seto," the guy who walked in said. 'I guess his name is Seto then,' I thought. "The group is meeting at the campfire," he looked over at Talia and I. "And since they're awake, they should come meet the others," Seto nodded. "Sure thing Ty, we'll be out in a moment," Seto looked back over at me after Ty had walked out. "We'll talk about it later," he said. I nodded, and looked back over at Talia, who was utterly confused. She shrugged it off and got up, and with that, we headed out to meet the others.
A/N PLEASE READ
Sorry for the late update guys! I had this all written a few days ago, and I hit save instead of save and publish. It was late at night after all....
Anyways, I figured I should end the chapter right there, 1: because It felt right, 2: because I am having major writer's block.
If you guys have any ideas of where this could keep going, because I have no idea. I should've had TC already formed..... I can do that in another book though. So if you have any ideas, make sure to comment, and I might use them! Or a part of them at least..... If I use one, I'll make sure to give you credit for the idea.
But for now, have a nice weekend!
