Chapter 10

A/N YAY!!! TENTH CHAPPIE

ON WITH THE STORY...

--Sky's POV--

      It had been a few days since I agreed to travel with Ruby to help her find her sister. We had reached the edge of the forest we had been travelling in, when we saw a gray cement building. "Do you think she is in there?" I asked her. "I don't know, but let's find out!" We made our way over to the building, and we heard something explode inside. I looked over to Ruby, and we ran the rest of the way over. 

      When we reached the nearest wall, I set down a block of TNT. We got out of the blast zone, and made a hole in the wall. When we walked in, I saw a girl wearing sunglasses and a blue jacket. I don't know where, but I think I may have seen her before. I wasn't sure, mostly because my memories weren't all the way restored yet. "Hey there." I said to her. "My name is Sky" 

      She widened her eyes a little bit under her sunglasses, but she seemed to shake it off. "Quick, come this way!" she said. "You need to help us get out of this hell-hole!" I nodded and Ruby and I ran after her. 

      We ran down a hallway, and approached a room with a ton of cells in them. I soon realized, they must be keeping these people here against the prisoners' will. Whoever 'they' is. I noticed that all of the cell doors had been opened, and there were, who I believed to be prisoners, fighting against some people in lab coats. A look of realization creeped up my face. These people in lab coats must have been doing experiments on people, because as I looked closer at the prisoners, I saw one with fox ears and a tial, and another that had dark hair and fangs, not to mention was she standing upside down on the ceiling. 

      Ruby and I grabbed our swords and dashed into battle. The prisoners had been fighting off the lab coat people pretty well, and I followed a few that were running into a hallway. I motioned for Ruby to follow me. We chased after them, and we approached what seemed to be a lab room. I ran over to one of the lab coat people and thrust my sword at her. She quickly reached for a machete that was on the table, and blocked my swing.

      I stepped back, and started to swing my sword at her legs. She put the machete down there to block it, but I quickly changed course and slammed it against her head. She collapsed onto the floor bleeding, until she wasn't breathing anymore.

      I turned to see Ruby facing another person. I sneaked up behind the person, and stabbed my butter sword into his back, and he fell down to the floor, a puddle of blood forming around him. I took my sword out of his back and sighed, looking at the blood on it. 

      I heard a crash behind me, and looked to see another lab coat person knocking a strange chemical my way. I quickly jumped back before it hit me, but Ruby wasn't so lucky. It splashed onto her, and she collapsed onto the floor unconscious. 'That better not have killed her,' I thought. I charged at the lab coat lady, and slashed my sword across her body many times, but it seemed to do no damage. 

      "Silly boy," she said to me. "Did you really think you could get us so easily? Us others are invincible!" she asked. I then noticed a potion effect coming off of her. "Well guess what," I said to her. She gave me an evil grin, hoping I would strike. "What?" she said confidently. "You are a liar!" I shouted, and quickly threw a bucket of milk at her. She widened her eyes in feal, and I soon finished her off.

      I stuck my butter sword back into it's sheath, and picked up Ruby. I carried her back to the others, where I saw lots of other dead 'scientists' on the floor. I approached a group of prisoners, and a guy in a spacesuit? That were walking towards the hole in the wall Ruby and I had made. I ran over to them, Ruby still in my arms.
