A new day dawns.Kagura remembers her meeting with the Avatar yesterday and face palms herself.
But she knows, life still has to go on and that she still has chores to do.
----------------------------
Korra, the fish roasting girl, opens the door and meets the gloomy faces of the fire ferrets's earth and fire benders named Bolin and Mako respectively.
"I didn't miss your match did I? You guys looked like you lost already."
"We might as well have." Bolin says, dejected.
"Hasook's a no good no show." Mako spits, obviously pissed.
"You got two minutes to come out and play or you're disqualified." A guy wearing a goofy hat informs.
"Well there goes our shot at the tournament. And the winners." Mako says.
"Can't you ask one of those guys to fill in?" Korra suggests.
"No...the rules say you can only compete on one team." Bolin refutes.
"Well...then...how about me?" Korra says, putting her hand on her chest. "I'm a top notch waterbender if I do say so myself."
"But...you're the avatar. Isn't that cheating?" Innoncent little Bolin asks.
"It isn't cheating if I only do waterbending." Korra smiles
"No way. I'd rather forfeit than look like a fool out there." Mako says flatly, rejecting Korra's offer.
"Wow...thanks for the vote of confidence." Korra says with sarcasm dripping from her every word.
"Times up. You in or out." The same goofy hat guy announces.
"We're in!" Korra smiles and raises a fist excitedly.
"We are?"
"Yes!" Bolin cheers.
"Hey I didn't agree to this." Mako says pointing a finger at Korra.
"You can thank me later" Korra says as she opens a locker to grab a fire ferrets uniform.
"This girl is crazy." Mako comments as he is forced to go out there with Korra.

After her chores, Kagura decides to sneak out and visits the bending arena again, for no other reason other than 'her gut tells her to do so'.
She walks in and is greeted my the same roaring enthusiasm of the spectators.
The commentator is commenting,
The audience is cheering,
And the benders are bending.
Same old, same old.
Or so she thinks.
Until she spots a familiar tan skinned girl in the bending arena.
Her eyes nearly pop out in shock.
Why the heck is she fighting in a probending match now...
Kagura face-palmed as the tan skinned girl is summoned back a zone for stepping over the line.
And she doesn't even know the rules...
Round 2 ends and round 3 starts with 3 'ding's of the bell.
"The Platypus Bears know a green player when they see one." The commenter comments. "And they are focusing the brunt of their bending on this poor girl."
In her desperation, the girl bends the earth discs in an attempt to shield her, forgetting that she was only supposed to bend water.
"Wait a minute, did that girl just earthbend?" The commenter announces, shocked and surprised.
The referee blows his whistle and yells, "Foul!!...I think."
The girl gives a nervous chuckle.
Kagura just stares.
The other two members of the team sigh.
"Hold on folks. We're just waiting for the referee's official call but...I think this replacement player could be...no...no there's no way...YOU'VE GOTTA BE KIDING ME! SHE'S THE AVATAR FOLKS! PLAYING IN A PROBENDING MATCH! CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT!"
"The avatar will be permitted to continue so long as she solely bends water." The referee steps out and declares.
Kagura watches as the avatar, whose name she still does not know, gets blown back all the way into the pool of water beneath the ring by the opposing team's barrage of attacks.
"And...she's in the drain"
Kagura sees the girl having what seems like a heated conversation with some monk like figure when she resurfaces.
The next round soon begins.
And the fire and earth boys are pushed too the side, preoccupied with the attacks of water.
Meanwhile, the avatar faces her own barrage of earth and fire attacks
"Looks like the avatar's probending debut is going to be cut short. She's been pushed back to zone 3, and the water is calling her name."
Suddenly, the girl's movements change. Kagura's eyes grew wide. It was as if she was an entirely different person, the avatar skilfully dodges all the attacks - like a leaf, when it meets resistance.
The opposing team runs out of power and the fire ferrets take the opportunity to hit them back and into the pool.
From the corner of her eye, Kagura sees the monk who was talking with the avatar previously, pump his hands into the air and cheers before recollecting his composure again.
Kagura lips curved up into a tiny smile.
The fire ferrets got themselves a place in the championships.
