Daniella

Demi was close to me before. Everything was better than it was before everything went in a downward spiral. I guess I'm not that special to her. She is my sister and of course she has had better experience of life as she is older than me.

"Daniella!" Moms voice rang through the house. Demi coming back from tour today and it's been months feeling like years to me but I don't really care;the longer the better. If she is away from me then I'm fine, I'm safe. Before I used to call her my safe haven but there isn't a bit of safety that radiates from her now. Demi hates me, I hate her;simple.

"Come down and greet your sister!" Mom shouted again up the stairs. I rolled my eyes and sighed lightly, preparing myself for what was about to come. Maybe a pinch or a secret slap here or there. I don't know but it'll hurt I know that.

Each step I stepped upon took me to my death, exaggerating a bit but you'll never know, I might be right. As soon as I stepped on the last step and shuffled my way to the living room all eyes were on me. All the family was there even the aunts and cousins I didn't know existed, just to see the one and only Demi Lovato. Demi smirked she knew she had me under her control. Maddie smiled big and Dallas came up to hug me.

I hugged her back trying to keep my gaze off Demi. "So you won't give your other big sister a hug?" Demi jeered sinisterly. "Go give her a hug Dani, you haven't seen her in months." Mom told me. I gulped and fear shook over me. "D-Do I have to, I-I mean I-I c-could alway g-give one later m-momma?"

"Okay your call. Right to the dinning room I've prepared dinner. Eddie?!"

Everyone rushed in and went to their places, claiming their own seat. I walked slower than the rest and Demi right beside me. "You know you're gonna pay for that right? Why didn't you hug me?" She whispered and pinched the skin on my arm. I winched and tears threatened to escape.

"I-I'm sorry." She shook her head and walked on toward the dining room. She sat down and there was only one empty space right across from her. I felt grateful at least I didn't have to sit next to her but not grateful enough as I still had to tolerate her staring and kicking under the table.

"So Daniella anything you'd like to tell us? You've been too quiet." Mom called out. Demi stared at me. If I told I would get hurt. With one last kick I had had enough.

I stood up a said "I'm sorry." And ran upstairs.

Just another day.
