PROLOGUE.
The voice in her head. It plagued her, ate away at her will, eroded her sanity. The voice in her head did all that with two words: crucify me. Over and over again, and with the same exhausted tone. As time went on, those words became more personal with the addition of her name. Crucify me, Troia Ren. A nameless voice, begging for closure, for death, for a means to an end. And the fact that it knew her name but its identity still remained a mystery to her was far more unsettling than the words it spoke.
But she'd know soon enough. The most powerful Force-user known to man was about to become the enemy of the First Order and the greatest ally the Resistance would ever have- all because of a voice in her head.
