Towards the end of summer vacation, about to start my sophomore year of high school, me and my mom were heading out to go to swim practice. We got her bright red jeep and strapped in. As we started to make our way out of our neighborhood, I decided to play on my phone. We stop at a stop light that takes a while to turn green. When the light finally turned, my mom let off the brake then gasped. I looked up for a split second I saw a red truck ram us on the side of the jeep. I gasped then felt our jeep spin at least three times. The whole time we were spinning I had my eyes closed and I was screaming at the top of my lungs. When we finally stopped spinning, I opened my eyes and the first thing I saw was the air bag deflated about half a foot in front of me, but I didn't feel it hit me when we got hit. In fact I didn't feel a single thing when we got hit except for the seat belt tightening up on my waist. I didn't have a single scratch on me. I looked over at my mom who was sitting stiff in her seat breathing heavily. She was okay too, not a scratch on her, just a small burn on her leg from the airbag rubbing on it, but she was okay. Her faced looked like it was stuck in shock. She looked over to me and asked if I was okay, I said 'yes'. Then she told me to stay calm while she called 911. After she finished the call she grabbed my hand tightly and almost started to cry. She leaned over and squeezed me tight. I heard her softly crying then I began to cry. I guess we were just in shock and relieved that were both okay. The ambulance finally came and a medic helped us out of the car, and that's when I saw it. Two more cars hit by the same truck. One small looked fine on one side but the other side was totally shredded, and the other car just looked like a head on hit. I saw the other people who got hit by truck and they all looked okay. Then I saw a young man around 20 or 23 sitting against a tree while an older woman seemed like she was talking to him. My mom found out that man was the one who hit us and the other cars, and without thinking, she marched straight over to where to the man was sitting and started scolding him.  Then the medic who helped us out of the car handed me a bottle of water and told me that everything was under control. About 30 minutes later, my dad arrives in his truck and runs over us in a panic. Mom told him we were okay then he decided to go around and help the others. Thankfully no one was hurt, just like me and mom, no one had a single scratch or bruise.  To be honest, I actually found this situation breathe taking. Imagine, four cars, all totaled and everyone comes out without a single scratch. If you ask me, that's a miracle from God.
