Amy texted Dana to see each other at the fountain. The two girls were seating talking again about Amy going out with Jonah. Dana still insisted it was a date, yet Amy kept saying it wasn't. Amy somehow found all of this funny, the two of two debating whether it was a date or not. She somehow found it entertaining, just as watching her favorite shows "The Gifted" and "Riverdale."
" I would have loved to see how you two interacted yesterday, was it romantic?" Dana asked drinking her coffee.
" Yeah, totally having other girls flirting with him while i was in the bathroom. "
"He asked you to pretend to be his girlfriend, and kissed you close to your mouth."
"As you said, he was only pretending. He had to make it believable. He wanted the girls to leave. No big deal."
"I'm jealous, you receive attention from your crush.Unlike me. " Dana said sighing.
"I had no idea you had a crush, who is he?" Amy asked interested.
"I prefer not to say."
"Why?"
"I'm not ready to tell you.Not yet. "
Amy was surprised that Dana would not share with her the name of her crush, as she would tell her everything about Jonah. Besides from Sean, Dana was the other person whom she never had secrets with. Since they were kids they shared everything, however this time it was different. Amy wondered why her friend was acting this way, but there was nothing she could do. Dana would only tell her when she felt ready. No pressures in the way. She was indeed curious but wanted Dana to tell her on her own terms.
"You're not mad at me?" Dana asked.
She was not mad, mostly hurt because her friend wouldn't trust her but didn't say anything.
"Not at all, let's go to class. "
The two girls walked to their respective classes , and both of them were surprised when seeing Jenna Stone walking through the halls as if she was on a runway walk, dressed in a yellow dress and white heels and her two inseparable minions, Grace and Helen. The three of them stopped in front of Amy. Dana seemed attentive to the girls' moves, as if she was preparing for an attack.
"Hi Amy. " Jenna said.
"Hi. " Amy answered.
"I was hoping to see you. "
"Why?"
Jenna wrapped her arms around Amy in a hug, and Amy had no idea what to do. It was all unexpected. The girl who has been rude to her was giving her a hug from nowhere. Everyone in the hallway was looking at the scene.
"I want to apologize for the way I have behaved with you. These days I had detention helped me understand that my conduct was inappropriate. " Jenna said letting Amy go.
"It's okay Jenna. No hard feelings. "
"Thank you. I hope we can be friends. " Jenna said and started walking away with her friends.
"What was that all about?" Dana asked confused.
"I have no idea. "
"Let me give you a small advice, If i were you i burn those clothes you are wearing. Not joking. You have no idea what kind of disgusting germs she has on herself. And she's fake as her eyelashes, i wouldn't trust her."
Amy didn't trust her either, and she would have to be alert to anything Jenna tried.
