"Then... Can I...Uhh.. CAN I BE YOUR-"

As those words came through my head , I was speechless. I couldn't think of anything to respond to that question that an enemy just spoke, I mean as someone that you once despise said those pitiful question.
"Wh-What?" I said, in confusion. Clinging to my own belief that he said wasn't true, BUT.
"CAN I BE YOUR APPRENTICE?!" he said, as he walks towards me glanced in nervousness. "Well? Can I?".
I strared at him, blanked. Could this be possible? Well the answer is simple.
I glanced at him furiously and said, "No, you can't I don't take strangers that are weak." I slowly turned around and then started walking really slow to put distance between us. I can't afford to waste more time just for silly events like this.
Then suddenly someone grabbed my hand as tight as they could like a snake tangled you like you are it's prey.
I then slowly tilted my head towards the where my hand got grabbed, as I turned my head i saw a familiar figure and it's as I figured it's the same guy, a stubborn guy indeed. Yeah I already know that he won't stop rubbing it on me until I accept his request.
And once again I declined on his request, and since then he's been disturbing me with his sympathetic expression on his face, he's annoyance is beyond my limitations, everyday he visits my classroom and disturb me when he has time to.
I got tired of his face seeing them being full of pity, I then asked him, "Why are you so desperate of being my apprentice?" I said, looking at him in curiosity. He then said, "We'll it can't be helped since you're the one who asked but don't tell anyone about this or it'll become annoyi-" He said,I then cut his sentence before he could even finish it.
"Wait... I know where this is going..." I said, whilst looking at the sky, (We were at the outside of the school). Oh why, oh why, mighty goddess.
He then looked at me with an innocent grin on his face and said, "In our past lives, you and I are master and apprentice, Hikari-dono".
[T/N: Tono (殿【との】), pronounced dono (どの) when attached to a name, roughly means "lord" or "master".]
As I thought.. I then sighed whilst looking at the sky(again I know). What the heck goddess of reincarnation?
I stood up and said, "Well it can't be helped since you said wasn't a lie." I knew that it wasn't a lie because of his serious yet grinning face, and i sense great dark energy from him just like mine, a little.
He smiled and cried , looking at me.
"Yes Hikari-dono..." He said, trying to hold those tears in.
Ahh... Okay did I do something wrong?
"Ahh, are you okay?" I said, feeling guilty.
He stopped crying and wiped it off with his hands and then said, "Yes I'm okay, it's just that I'm so happy seeing my master once again". He stands up then bows his head "Hikari-dono".
"By the way what's your name?" I ask.
"Oh its Takahashi Tsuyomi but you can just call me Tsumi, that's the nickname you gave me when you were little." He responded with an innocent smile.
FLASHBACK WHEN THEY WERE DEMONS
\[Tsuyomi's POV]/
"HIKARI-DONO WHERE ARE YOU?!" I said in panic, Running and looking for my master for he is gone wondering off in the Valley of Lightness.
I ran and ran in the shadows to find my master in the forbidden city for demons. The alley I just walked in is full of light even though its an "alley" and they should be darker.
They don't call it Valley of Lightness for nothing. As I continued walking I saw lots of people gathering in one place. I used a spell to change my appearance for 30 minutes and thus affecting my element because light has indestructible hate for dark element.
I used a fire appearance and walked towards to the gathering people and as I arrived there I saw a familiar figure, a familiar figure it is, It's I-Its Its!
"MY BROTHER!!" I screamed in shock to see my brother just got utterly killed in front of my eyes by some light guards.

Yeah i know I haven't been updating this book for a while now and that's because I'm having my break from school.
So sorry about that and because of that many people have stopped reading my book so this time Imma try to keep up.
Oh and this chapter is like a filler one and I'm changing the plot for a bit.
