~Konan~

Konan threw Paper Shurikens at her opponents, Pein stood by her, killing shinobi with his metal rods. The Animal Path summoned the large three headed dogs that rampaged down the hills, Anbu screaming in horror. Konan threw another Paper Shuriken at the final shinobi that stood at this hill with her and Pein. Tsunade and Asuma had been kept hostage by the Naraka Path.

Konan saw as the King of Hell sprouted from the ground, purple flames and smoke surounded it. She spun around when something brushed against her back, she saw it was only Pein. She sighed with relief, "This isn't really going with our plan."

"I know that," he replied, looking at her. "But at least we're winning right now. They'll soon realize what Yahiko wanted, what we suffered for to make them realize that we're right."

"But what about Uzamaki Naruto and the Kazekage? Won't they try to---" Just at that moment, missiles zoomed past and hit to what was more shinobi. Both Pein and Konan saw the Asura Path, who was just connecting back his arm. He nodded at the both of them and jumped down to assist the Human Path. Pein and her glanced at each other, he sighed.

"Continue?" he asked, looking around.

"Won't they try to destroy us?" Konan finished.

Pein shook his head, "Not if all of us work as a team." He bent down to brush his lips against hers, she felt her heart take a big leap. Pein drew back, and smiled at her. "We'll win. You know that."

Konan nodded, and stepped back. "Pein. It looks like Jiraiya-sensei is out of his coma. We need to act quick."

"Certainly . . ." Pein nodded, he then looked up. Konan glanced up as well and saw Deidara, Tobi, and Sasori coming own. The bird exploded just as they landed. "What's the update?"

"Uchiha Sasuke is on our side." Deidara replied. "And . . . your Animal Path has been captured, un."

Sasori spoke up, "He also forgot to say that . . . the Jinchuriki's have arrived. The Nine-Tails, Eight-Tails, and One-Tail."
