~Sasori~

He was in his damaged Hikuro, he hadn't bothered to fix it, and he was still in major shock. Deidara and Tobi had tried to snap him out of his faze, however it didn't work. Sasori didn't enjoy the human emotions that came back to him, he didn't want it. He was disappointed; he didn't kill Chiyo nor did she kill him for good. They did, indeed, duel for the fact of what happened in the past. Although, after fighting for thirty minutes, they then talked.

It wasn't the type of talk that someone like Sasori, himself, wanted. Sasori closed his eyes, stressed from all the emotions and memories that slapped him in the face. He listened to the wind blowing the trees harshly against the roof.

"Danna?"

Sasori frowned inwardly, he wasn't in the mood to talk. He just continued staring at the trees, the base was abnormally quiet and it concerened him. However, not much.

"Danna?" the voice repeated. "Danna?"

Still, Sasori didn't answer. It was angering him that Deidara didn't take a hint so he could be left alone. When Deidara repeated his name again, Sasori glared at him. "What? What do you want this time?"

"Sheesh," Deidara responded, by the sound of his tone. He was hurt. "You've been quiet for a while, un. Well, you're always quiet, but never this type of quiet."

Sasori snapped his glance back out to the trees, "Does it really matter to you, brat?"

"Yes, danna. Because you're my partner." Deidara sat down next to him, the mouths on his hand were closed.

"Well," Sasori replied, surprised. "That's new for you. Or did you just come here to get away from Tobi?"

Deidara chuckled, but he didn't answer. They were both staring outside, listening to the wind howling and branches cracking. Somehow, it was peaceful to him, he closed his eyes and listened. "We should go inside, un. It's going to rain." Deidara stood up, and Sasori felt the brat's gaze on him, though he ignored it. "Danna. You're doing it again, yeah."

"Let me do what I want, Deidara. I find it relaxing." Sasori growled, not caring whether Deidara will get his feelings hurt or not. "Go back to Tobi. I'll be back inside."

"What's with you, un?! You've always been so . . ." Sasori opened his eyes to see Deidara pointing at him with his ringed finger. "Why are you like this, un?"

"I have no emotions, I'm a puppet. I shouldn't care what you all think, nor shall you worry about me." Sasori retorted, harshly and unkindly to Deidara. "Now go back inside, I don't care what happens to me."

"Fine," Deidara hissed back, and left Sasori out to sit there. Sasori listened to the brat's footsteps as they grew quieter, until he could no longer hear them. It was time for him to get out of Hikuro, he could tell he needed to fix his puppet right away, and it was no use for him to use him at the moment if he was just going to sit there, sulking while it rained. All he could do was . . . nothing. He was hopeless, he let something unwanted back into his life, yet he let it possess him as if he were some foolish human. But he wasn't that. He needed to regain his old self. He needed to be The Puppet Master, once again.

To be . . . Akasuna Sasori.
