I went back to moms yesterday after what took place at Channings.

I left feeling both sad and disappointed and the more I thought of it the more upset I got. I know it's not my place to be, but since I've been somewhat updated on what's been going on, I thought the outcome would be different.

I though he was done, complete and utterly, finished with her acts and games. He had told me so. The things he said came from deep within, his heart being the source.

I think that's the reason I felt as I did when I saw them. Because he felt the pain of his love letting someone else touch her in a way only he should be allowed to, his friend being that someone. But most of all, the pain from betrayed trust, leaving his world completely shattered.

You could see it in his eyes.

And just like that he let her in again.

Maybe he's hoping that she's the one thing that can fix him; glue him together, piece by piece, but what do I know.

The calls started ten minutes after I'd left their house and it continued this morning, too. My phone tells me I have four missed calls from Channing and one text message begging me to answer his calls. I've been close a few times to actually do so and ask what he wants, but I've stopped myself.

He can do whatever he wants, whatever he pleases. I just wish I knew what changed.

The thoughts are keeping my occupied while I unpack the boxes in the apartment. I figured since I now have paid him back most of my debt, I could start moving my stuff in.

It turned out I don't own much. Six brown boxes was all that was needed to pack my life up.

I sight and turn towards the kitchen. Madison, Amber and Jasmine are coming over in a few minutes and I have done nothing to prepare for their arrival. The refrigerator and cupboards echoes empty and so does the rest of the apartment.

If I knew where the nearest store where I'd go right now, but they'd be here before I'd be back and knowing Jasmine who's always on time, they're probably here any minute.

"Guess who's here!!"

As if reading my thoughts, Madisons familiar voice is heard from the other side of the door before multiple laughs take over. I smile to myself knowing that the just silent space is long gone and will be for the following hours.

I hurry to open the door and is meet by three wide smiles.

"Congratulations!" They say in choir, Amber holding up a champagne bottle. The three of them are wearing matching smiles and mine spread involuntary, unable to hold it back.

"Guys, you're early," I start, "now I didn't have time to get everything sorted." I say sarcastically, well aware of them being only one minute early.

They walk inside, Amber in the lead. She places the champagne on the floor, "We're weeks late, what do you mean." She's right, but considering that I haven't even been here since the contract were signed I don't think I've done too badly.

They take off their jackets before hanging them over a chair I've mindlessly placed in the hallway.

"But you brought us time to get this-" Madison says and holds up a big plastic bag I hadn't noticed until now.

I recognize the logo printed in green. "You bought sushi?" I ask excitedly, thankful they took matters into their own hands and bought both food and drinks.

"Oh my god, Brooke!" Madison exclaims loudly as her eyes fall over the windows. Her eyes are glistering at the sight and I smile at her reaction. "You told me it had big windows, you didn't say they literally cover the whole wall." She exclaims, her mouth hanging open as she walks over to press her hands against the glass.
