ryan sat on the bench, alone. the moon was bright and very beautiful, it reminded him of brendon; who was on his way to meet him. why the moon reminded him of his boyfriend? ryan didn't know, maybe it was that he loves to look at brendon and see the moons reflecting in his eyes.

his hand was wrapped around his small wrist absentmindedly rubbing the red mark his mother caused earlier that evening. "hey ryan." he jumped when he heard brendons voice. he turned his head to see brendon leaning against the back of his bench, a smirk on his face. "you're the worst." ryan sighed and motioned for brendon to come sit down.

brendon stared at the jacket hanging on ryan's shoulders, it was a little warm to be wearing a jacket, at least brendon thought so. they sat and talked about nothing, until brendon grabbed ryan's hand and started playing with his fingers. the comfortable feeling soon left brendon when he saw the burns over ryan's wrist. he pulled up ryan's jacket sleeve and examined the marks.

"ry... what's this." brendon asked and ran a thumb over one of the small circular burn. ryan pulled his arm away quickly and pulled his sleeve back down defensively, "it's nothing." he said shyly.

"did your mom do that?" brendon asked immediately, he's heard about ryan's  mom before and he concluded that she wasn't very nice. ryan silence gave brendon the answer he needed. "ry? what else has she done?"
