"Hey Y/n." I smiled as I heard Virgil's voice on the other side of the line.
"Hey Verge," I said. "What's up?"
"Nothing, I just, um, wanted to say hi." He coughed and I rolled my eyes.
"Yeah right. Fess up." I said sarcastically.
"Are you doing anything?" He asked.
"Um." I bit my lip, looking into a pair of (e/c) eyes that blinked back at me. "Why don't you come over? I think someone I know wants to meet you."
"Uh, ok. I'll be there in a few. See ya soon." He responded, his voice quivering slightly.
"See ya." I hung up and turned to directly face the pair of (e/c) orbs that looked confused. "Someone wants to meet you today Marissa," I said.
"REALLY?" She squealed and clapped her hands in delight.
I nodded, laughing slightly, and picked her up. "Yep. It's my boyfriend."
"Boy. Friend?" She asked, cocking her head to the side.
I nodded again and walked into the living room. "Uh-huh. His name is Virgil."
"Vir. Gil?" She questioned again.
I laughed. "Yep and I love him very much. I'm sure you'll like him too."
"Is he nice?" She inquired, playing with my hair.
I paused. "Yeah, for the most part."
Thank God the doorbell rang. I set my sister on the couch and answered the door. There was Virgil, looking nervous and uncomfortable. To be honest, it was pretty warm out and he was wearing a heavy hoodie and jeans. I assumed he must be hot.
I smiled. "Hi, Virgil!" I gave him a hug before planting a kiss on his pale cheek. I watched him blush and kept a chuckle to myself. He probably will never get over me kissing him.
"Hey Y/n and..." His voice trailed off when Marissa came bounding over. "Little Y/n???"
I laughed. "Virgil, this is my little sister, Marissa. I am taking care of her while my parents are out of town. I thought you two should meet."
"O-kay." He stuttered and crouched down so he was looking at Marissa eye-to-eye. "Hello, Marissa. I'm Virgil Sanders and I am dating your older sibling."
She looked at him quizzically, before saying, "You look scary."
"MARISSA! Be nice!" I shouted, before giving Virgil a hug from behind. "I am so sorry Virgil. She's only six, so she doesn't know any better."
"I understand." He whispered and I kissed the top of his head.
"You love him, right Y/n?" Marissa asked.
"Y-yes," I responded, caught off-guard by her sudden question.
"And you Virgil?" She turned to him. He bit his lip before nodding. She smiled and clapped. "YAY! You're getting married and I get to be the flower girl and wear a pretty dress and throw rose petals and-"
"WHOA, whoa, whoa little missy! We're not getting married! We only started dating a month ago!" I explained, as red as a fire truck.
"So?" She stamped her foot. "That's long enough!"
"Oh God, she's been corrupted by Disney!" Virgil said suddenly.
"DISNEY!" She squealed. "Disney, Disney, DISNEY!" She started dancing around as she sang. "Can we watch a Disney movie?"
I stood there, mouth agape for a few seconds before sputtering "s-sure! Um, we can watch the Hunchback of Notre Dame."
"Yay! Esmeralda! Esmeralda!" She squealed, running to the couch and jumping on it before I shot her a glare. She meekly sat down and stared at the TV.
"She likes that movie?" Virgil asked as I grabbed the DVD.
"Yep," I replied, popping the p. "She likes Esmeralda's dance and her goat. She also likes how it ends."
"Huh, maybe she's not a lost cause after all." He commented and I punched him playfully.
"Hey! No hitting!" Marissa scolded.
"Sorry, sorry." I put the DVD in and sat on the couch in between Virgil and Marissa. I started the movie and snuggled into Virgil. Yep, my plan worked. Marissa likes Virgil and Virgil likes Marissa.
