Chapter 5

JM: I hope you've been keeping an eye on your drinks tonight. 

Y/N: I try not to repeat the same mistake twice and expect a different result. 

JM: The definition of insanity. 

Y/N: Yes. 

Much like the electric sensations pulsating through my body. 

JM: Smart and beautiful. 

First he rejected me and now this?

Y/N: Too bad that doesn't count for anything if you're a virgin. 

JM: And she has claws, too. Good thing i don't mind being scratched. 

My lord, he was sexy. 

JM: I better leave before your friend comes back. See you around, Y/N.

Questions swirled through my mind, but the most important was, how was i going to resist him? Just the feeling of his body close to mine made me want to... 

L: Screwdrivers! Get your screwdrivers, here! 

Y/N: Oh, thanks. 

L: You look a little flushed. Are you feeling alright? 

Y/N: Honestly, i feel pretty great. 

L: Exactly what i wanted to hear. Let's dance! 

It was an amazing night. The more i talked to new people, the more i started to enjoy it. I would have been lying if i said that Jimin's flirtation hadn't given me a huge confidence boost. But, regardless of the reason, i was finally feeling like i belonged. Which  made it that much harder when my heart was thrown against the wall. 

L: Should we get another drink? Earth to Y/N! You want another drink? 

Y/N: No. I think i'm done for the night. 

L: Are you alright? 

Y/N: I just want to go back to the room. 

L: Do you want me to come with you? 

Y/N: No. That's OK.  

Within the span of an hour, he had made me feel like i was floating on air, and then like i had crawled out of a garbage can. That was it. No more Jimin. I was going to go out with MJ and never even think about him again. And there it was again. The sound of someone walking up behind me. But there was no one there. 

Y/N: Keep it together, Y/N. 

TIME SKIP

Y/N: Are you sure this is such a good idea? I don't think she likes me. 

L: Jennie is so self-involved she can't remember who she likes. Seriously. When we were kids we used to have all-out brawls. And then an hour later she'd come over and want to watch movies. 

Y/N: Is she a little off? 

L: Oh, totally. But you need to look rockin' for your date tonight, and she has the most extensive wardrobe collection of anyone on campus. 

Y/N: She does? 

L: I didn't say she knew how to put a look together, but that's what you have me for. 

TIME SKIP

L: Oh... 

Y/N: Geez... 

T: Um... Jen?

J: Hey! Don't you ever knock?

L: You told me i didn't have to. 

J: Well, from now on, you do.
