If he was willing to sleep in my hallway to apologize to me, he deserved a chance. Did he?
Y/N: I spent far too long being a mental patient. So, if that's all you can see when you look at me, i'd like you to leave now and not speak to me again.
I said my peace and weathered the storm. Everything in me expected him to walk right out the door, but he just looked me over and softly said...
JM: Let me tall you exactly what i see when i look at you. I see a girl who has been through hell and back, and lived to tell about it. And to me, that makes you the strongest woman i've ever known.
I could barely believe what i was hearing. Was it possible the story of my past was bringing more than awkwardness and pity?
JM: I know what it's like to be ashamed of your past. I never should have gone behind your back the way i did, but know that i did it because.... i care about you.
It was as if every dream i ever had was coming true in one instant. How could i even respond?
Feeling urgency of his warm mouth on mine, i knew he had meant every word he had just said.
JM: I guess that means you forgive me?
Y/N: I do.
JM: Good, because there's something i need from you.
The way he was looking at me, i knew that could only mean one thing.
TIME SKIP
I knew i was testing fate and my brother's wishes, but i insisted Jimin stay the night. I realized within moments of having him back in my life, just how much i had truly missed him. And after the things he did to me, i knew he had missed me too...
Y/N: Hey, stranger. Leaving so soon?
JM: You make it pretty hard looking like that. (kisses her)
Y/N: No pun intended. I don't know what it is about you, Y/N, but everything seems a bit different when we're together.
Despite our happy reunion, i could tell something was bothering him.
Y/N: What are you thinking about?
JM: I don't want to upset you, but i have to ask, do the detectives think the attack in your dorm room is connected to what happened with your parents?
This was going to be hard to explain...
Y/N: The police here don't know what happened to my parents.
JM: What?
Y/N: They think i'm Y/N, just like you did.
JM: Y/N, you have to tell them who you are. You could be in serious danger.
Y/N: No, i'm not. The guys who killed my parents won't be getting out of jail any time soon. They were charged with two counts of involuntary manslaughter, and several drug-related charges.
JM: Drug related?
Y/N: Yes. Their lawyers were able to keep it out of the press for the sake of their family, but, the men who killed my parents were going through crack withdrawal at the time. My town went through a major drug epidemic when i was a kid. It was everywhere. And apparently the killers thought they could find some, or money to buy it, in our house.
He was quiet for so long, i didn't know if he was feeling sorry for me, or trapped in a reverie of his own...
Y/N: Jimin? Are you okay?
