"where the hell is jaebum?" jackson grumbled from his spot on the sofa, laid back in boredom as mark placed his bag with the rest by the door.

"who knows?" yugyeom scoffed. "the bastard's always late."

"wow," luna laughed loudly. "you should tell that to his face, gyeom."

"i'll do that when i'm ready to die," yugyeom countered with widened eyes. "mark-hyung!"

mark turned to face the younger as he took a sip of his tea. "what?"

"you're older than jaebum-hyung, so you should tell him off when he gets here."

"you're quite the little instigator, aren't you?" luna smacked the back of his head lightly, and yugyeom yelped. "he's the only one with a car. why bite the hand that feeds you?"

"yeah, and he'd be the first to leave us stranded in the middle of nowhere," sydney pointed out.

"if youngjae wasn't so nice, he would've done that long ago," bambam chimed in, and everyone nodded in agreement.

"i just can't understand what's taking so long," jackson whined some more. "i'm so bored."

and just as he said that, sydney's phone went off. she reached into the pocket of her leather jacket and pulled it out, examining it for a second before she announced, "youngjae says they're here-"

yugyeom, bambam and jackson got up in a haste to grab their bag and head for the door, crowding around like ants and pushing and shoving to get through.

"last one to the car is the rotten egg!"

"you already smell like rotten eggs, ya dingus."

"shut the fuck up."

"no, you shut the fuck up."

the other three just laughed at their stupidity and got their things after the others went out, running through the halls and shouting like banshees.

"idiots," luna muttered under her breath.

when the group reached the parking lot, they all dropped their things in surprise at the sight of jaebum and youngjae sitting in a cj5 jeep that must've dated back to historic times. it was a faded yellow color, and no one could tell if it was in need of a paint job or just covered in dust.

"no wonder they took so long," jackson whispered in luna's ear, but it was loud enough for the whole group to hear. subtlety was not his forte. "can that thing even go over thirty miles an hour?"

"it can do about fifty-five on a good day," youngjae responded with a meek laugh. luna laughed when she saw jackson's expression of genuine surprise that he'd heard him.

"what's the holdup?" jaebum deadpanned. "get in."

"will we even fit?" bambam asked incredulously, seeing only three seats in the back when there were six people in need of a spot.

"you're gonna have to double up," youngjae blushed, rubbing the back of his neck.

"you mean..." mark looked around nervously.

"yeah, i think that's what he means," yugyeom sighed, already accepting his grim fate. "c'mon, guys, buddy up. let's go, bam."
