~~~~ Starting another one. Maybe I'll reveal something about Haru's amnesia. It was more of an epic fail than amnesia though.
Central! I felt somewhat at home. Maybe I used to live in Central before I started traveling. If that were the case I'd feel pretty bad about my life.
"Off to the food places!" I shouted then started to run off.
I got outside the station before falling flat on my face. Instantly I felt like there were people underneath the ground. But there couldn't be.
"Are you okay Haru?" Al asked picking me up off the ground.
"Yeah I guess. Are there any people living underground?"
"No we're all above ground."
Maybe there were just sewer people living down there. If not then this city is super creepy.
"Who are these guys?"
Two new people had joined us. I'm not sure where they came from but they were with the military. They looked fairly new. A man and a woman.
"Denny Brosh and Maria Ross. They're-,"
"We're escorts," Brosh finished. "Who are you?"
"Me? Haru, age unknown, home unknown, occupation permanent follower of the Elric brothers because I am bored."
"If you're bored find someone else to follow."
There was no point in me leaving now. I wanted to see how the show was going to end.
"Alright let's go to the library! So after we can eat!"
I was a little too happy about getting to that library. Everyone else was in complete shock.
"It's gone!" the brothers and me yelled in unison.
"Why do you sound so happy about it?" Ed asked.
"Because... um... We can eat now."
Due to my hesitation no one was convinced. We did go to eat though.
"I can't believe the entire thing is gone. All of Dr. Marcoh's notes were in there."
"Haru, can you tell us what you know about creating a stone?"
"Me? I know everything. But when you guys find out you'll either try to make it anyway or reject the idea completely. I'll see you guys later."
With no where to go I wandered around the city. I did not know anyone in the city and I did not even know where we were supposed to be staying. Then I remembered that Hughes said that he works here. Maybe I can stay with him for awhile.
I did not know where Central Command was but when I found it it was not hard to miss. The place was huge. But it is the main command center right?
Getting in was no problem even though there were people everywhere. I turned one way and ran into someone. They were like a brick building.
"Korosu?"
"Ow who's Korosu?"
I looked up at the man towering over me. He looked like an important guy. Carrying swords with him and wearing an eye patch.
"You are. Don't play dumb Korosu where have you been?"
"My name is Haru. Who are you?"
"To the humans I am known as Führer King Bradley. To you I am Wrath."
This guy was insane. How is he leading this country? And why does he insist that I am this Korosu?
"You must have hit your head somewhere again. You'll remember eventually. Let's go back to my office, and don't think about running away or I'll have to kill you."
I followed him without complaint. He knows who I am, or at least who I once was. Apparently this is not my first case of amnesia either.
"I'll ask you one more time, where have you been? Don't hurt yourself thinking about it. Just what you remember."
"I was in Liore then I started traveling with the Elric brothers."
"The Fullmetal Alchemist? Very well you can stay with them for the time being. And you can keep being 'Haru'. Remember Kororsu you'll have to come back."
"You have family right? Can I stay with them until we leave this stupid city?"
"Certainly. I'll have someone escort you there."
I had a nice escort. He took me straight to the Führer's house. Wrath also said that he would tell the brothers that I would be staying with him for awhile.
When I got there Wrath's wife and kid were waiting.
"Haru!"
The kid almost knocked me over when he hugged me. He acted like we knew each other.
"Selim don't hurt her. Have you two met before?" she asked me.
"Maybe, I'm having amnesia problems right now."
Before the end of the day I was certain that at one point I did know Selim. We must have been close.
"Isn't it time for bed?" I yawned.
"I still have an hour left."
"Alright you stay up for an hour I going to sleep."
When I closed my eyes I was not expecting to fall asleep. From then on every time it was wake up and do whatever Selim wanted to do that day. And it was fun until one day I got a phone call.
I had to go to some hotel to meet the brothers. Major Armstrong was there and he led me up to the room. I was barley in the room before the questions started.
"You know everything about making a stone right?"
I nodded.
"And you knew that the main ingredient is human life right?"
Again I nodded.
"That's why I left."
Ed looked up at me and asked his last question.
"Why didn't you just tell us?"
"Because I didn't want you to choose the wrong path. Anyway what are you going to do now?"
"Well," Ed thought. "There's a Fifth Laboratory-,"
"That you can't go to," Armstrong interrupted.
Ed dropped it but I knew this was not the last I would hear of it. Later we pretended we were tired and snuck out. Big surprise there, and we went to the laboratory.
"How are we going to get in?" Al asked aloud.
"Haru and I are going through here," he said pointing bout the air duct. "You stay here and keep watch."
Neither Al or I were happy about our assignments but we did it anyway. I followed Ed through the air duct and we were inside the Fifth Laboratory.
~~~I surprised myself. Three chapters today! yeah if there are any mistakes I'm sorry I have a club meeting to get to
