A sister and a brother

'Haru!'

'Stop yelling Kida I'm coming.'

I hopped around trying to put on my other boot and fell on my face.

'Be careful."

Nathan picked me up and set me on my feet.

'Thanks Nathan.'

I followed Kida outside and we started  playing in the snow.

'Watch this Kida watch!'

I drew a simple transmutation circle in the snow and transmuted the snow into a snowman.

'You can use alchemy? That's so cool!'

Kida hugged the snowman that I made tight.

The memory changed and we all grew up a little.

'An alchemy school?'  '

'Yeah mom and dad said that I could go. But I don't  know when I can come back.'

'You should go Haru. Maybe can even be a state alchemist!'

'No way Kida. I'm only eleven years old.'

For five whole years I never saw my mom, dad, Nathan, or Kida. I learned a lot of alchemy, and combat skills. When I graduated at sixteen I went back home.

'Mom? Dad? Nathan? Kida? I'm home!'

Nathan came downstairs and held me tight in his arms.

'Finally.  I thought I was all alone.'

'Alone? Where's everyone else? '

Nathan took me to their grave. Mom and Dad were died overseas for reasons unknown. Nathan and Kida got food from neighbours but when winter hit Kida got sick and died. Two years ago...

I decided not to stay at home. I traveled around Amestris researching alchemy used by people used in Xerses. Under the title of State Alchemist.

It was when I finally returned to Central that I became a homunculus. . I did not have a care in the world. Since Kida died I wanted her to watch me have a happy life so she would not be sad.

I went down a dark alley trying to go find a place where I could safely sleep before I moved on. I had the money to sleep in a hotel but I prefered the outdoors. The entrance was not properly sealed off so I crawled in.

Chemiras came after me as soon as I got in.

I easily defeated them and got to the main part.

'A human, can I eat her?'

I transmuted Gluttony's head causing it blow up. Then Lust attacked me from behind. I never felt my injury but I saw the blood and began to feel weak.

'Enough you two. This human must be pretty good to make it past the Chemiras.  And she tried killing Gluttony without hesitation.  Could you be the answer to our problems?'

When Father put the stone in me I kept dying and coming back. The stone would not allow me to die. And I could not die. Kida would be mad and Nathan would truly be alone.

When I woke up four homunculi and the old man were around me.

'Congradulations, you are now Korosu. You will help me carve the crest of blood.'

'You... want me to kill people?'

It was my twentyth birthday. For a month I spent the next month training with Envy. Since he was immortal like me it was easy for us to fight to the death. And I just prefered fighting him.

The homunculi became my family that I wouldn't loose. The family that would never leave me.

My first assignment came the day Envy shot that child. Then the military was sent in to stop the riots. It was already like an extermination.

'How do you not have the eyes of a killer too?'

' I lost my emotions awhile ago. For some reason I don't feel guilty. This is what I was trained to do.'

'Come on Roy leave the poor girl alone.'

'You seriously don't think that this is strange Hughes?  She still looks like a kid.'

'I am not a kid.'

That was the day that I met Hughes and Mustang. I met Hawkeye the next day. One day I was assigned to work with Kimblee, the well known lunatic.

'Stop blowing stuff up!'

'Why should I? I prefer hearing that marvelous sound . You seem to enjoy breaking people's necks and letting them bleed to death.'

I walked back to camp not being able to deal with him anymore. Despite being capable of killing lots of people without feeling guilt I still hated it.

Kimblee became a sort of friend, when he wasn't blowing things up I was with him. Hawkeye was more fun to be with though since the military lifestyle had not consumed her yet.

After the war I visited Mustang everyday to play any game of my choosing. They turned out being mostly board games.

It was during the winter that I met Ed and Al. I had just come back from a visit with Natham. I saw the two of them playing in the snow and thought of me and Kida all those years ago.

As I started my way in the opposite direction not wanting to remember those days, when I fell. It was slow and quick but the pain from the rock lasted. When I woke up I had no clue what I was doing. I saw the two boys playing in the snow, and I went on my way in their direction.
