Worries

My journey with Scar and Yoki, the non Marcoh man (he keeps avoding me), continued. The train slowed down at one point then the three of us jumped off there.

"Where are we, I mean you two going? "

"To the Briggs mountains. I've hidden my brother's research notes there."

"I'm sorry sir but why are you telling her? She is working with our enemy."

Scar ignored Yoki and we kept walking. We ended up down a mountain pass. Eventually our path was blocked by a bunch of rocks.

Wanting to show off a bit and to make sure that I could still do alchemy I cleared away the rocks.

"Hurray! My alchemy still works."

"Good for you. After we get through this pass I need you to create another rock slide."

"Yes sir."

I did as I was told hoping that Kimblee did not come this way. It is pretty obvious that this new landslide was a result of alchemy. From there we boarded a train that was to go to Briggs.

"Are we going to jump off this train too?"

"No this train will take us close to our destination."

As time went on it started getting colder. Yoki was shaking really bad and Scar was cool as always. I moved closer to Yoki and made a small fire in my hands.

"How can you do that?" he asked putting his hands near the flame.

"Pyrokenesis I think. Father gave me the power before I started working with Kimblee."

"Great now the psychopaths have compatible powers."

I was going to yell at him when Scar spoke before I could.

"Get some sleep you two. When we hit the Northern cold you won't be able to no matter how hard you try."

Yoki seemed to drift right off. I was a little scared to go to sleep. I was taught to always be on guard and Kimblee was following us. I had no doubt that he would find us. If I were with Ed and Al it would be less troublesome now I'm sure.

Scar went to check outside for an moment then shut the door again. As he was walking back towards us he spun around again and opened the door wide. Light flooded in blinding me.

Scar went above the train car from the side door. Yoki and I started making our way to the other door.

"There's no point in running," Kimblee called to us. "Korosu where's Scar?"

Right after he asked Scar flew in aiming a kick at him. The moonlight shed light onto the scene from the door that Scar had come through. They seemed to instantly recognize each other from their last encounter and Scar blew up half the train car.

Yoki continued to the other door but he could not go out that way.

"Maybe you could crawl to the other side?" I suggested.

"Are you insane? If I fall I'll die!"

I shrugged and turned back to the action unfolding. Kimblee seemed to be distracted when Scar transmuted a piece of railing. Scar threw it and it caught Kimblee in his side. Not even thinking twice about it I ran to Kimblee's side and Kimblee derailed the trian. I heared Scar shout his name in the distance.

"Where does this train lead? We need to get you to a hospital."

"What are you worried for?" He muttered.

"I'm out in the middle of the mountains and you are the only one who knows where we might be going!"

"And?"

I had half a mind to to pull that pole out of him and let him bleed to death. The train gave a sudden jerk and it stopped. I jumped up and saw further up people with lights.

"We need help!" I shouted to the lights.

They picked up the pace and came to where we were.

"Oh my god. What happened?"

"It's not important. Just keep the train going!"

The two workers got us inside we sped off towards Briggs. There was a military fort there that Kimblee could be treated at.
