You stare at the open door and the darkness inside, pondering over whether to enter to look for your friend or wait a bit longer.

In the end, you say outloud 'fuck it' and step onto the porch and through the dark doorway.

You find yourself in a dark room, lit by moonlit seeping in through the cracks in the wood and the single rectangular window.

It smells musty and you call out your friend's name but get silence in return. Thick, heavy silence that presses and constricts your chest and lungs.

You start to get a little scared of this simple building. You felt foolish for that, but you couldn't help your body's reactions.

You call out your friend's name again and this time, you got a reply.

Not the one you were expecting though.

"Hello, wanderer."

A soft, etherial echo replied. The reply had no source, it seemed to emanate from the house itself.

How?!

"Who-who are you?" You shakily replied, very clichè, but that was the first natural reply that left your lips.

"I...am...the house..." The same sound spread across the walls and engulfed you again.

"Where's my friend?" You breathily replied, still frozen in your spot.

"Alive. But, to get to her, you must solve my riddle. Hihihi..." The house talked back to you.

What even?!

You:

A1) Accept the challenge and take on the riddle to find your friend

B1) Decide this is all too fucked up for you, your friend is probably dead, and you leave
