You decide to search the first two shelves, and start to sift through the various books, and stare at the titles.

Its all dusty and you barely make them out in the dark. Then you hear the air move.

It is the quietest sound, but in the dead silence of the library your ears pick it up.

Your heart speeds up,

Another Hunter?

The House herself?

Or....could it be....your friend?

No, that's crazy..

You stand completely still, waiting for something to happen.

Then it all goes to silence again.

Thick, heavy silence.

It's sickening.

It isn't right.

Then a shimmer catches your eye, but next to it, an outline of...a Hunter you guess.

It didn't seem to see you..

Good.

What is that shimmer?

The key?

You have to try and get it.

You take a deep breath, and hope your heart doesn't come up your throat.

You take a step forward and watch the Hunter. Nothing.

It just...stood there..

Completely still...

As if it were waiting for something...

Your sense heighten, you become more alert and take another step.

You outstretch your hand and graze the cold metal of the key with your fingertips.

Still, the Hunter just stood.

You slide your fingers under the body of the key and curl your fingers to grasp it.

You quickly curl your arm back to your side, and walk slowly backwards, your eyes never leaving the menacing figure.

And even still, it doesn't move, it just stands there. This is the first time you came so close to it.

The feeling of it being so near is scaring you.

Not because it was fear, but because it was tranquility and peace.

Not something you expected to feel around something that's out for you.

Maybe...it wasn't..

So, you:

A5) Approach it and attempt communication.

B5) Get out of there and go into the basement.
