"Nice work out there Helios" my couch pats me on the back "have a good night," he says as he walks out the locker room. The practice was over and everyone left, I was the last one left in the locker room. I finish showering and putting all of my stuff in my gym bag. Just as I was heading out, I hear this clicking inside of a can, what was that? "It's spray paint. He's back" I whispered to myself. I needed to find out who this guy was. I put my stuff down and slowly turn the corner and see him. He's really short. "Hey!" I yell at him and jump out the corner. He was wearing a black hoodie, pants, and a black bandana to cover his face, from the nose down. He turns around, looks at me and sprints away. I go after him, "Hey! Get back here!" as he was running he tripped over a tree branch and fell on his side and rolled over on his back. "What the hell are you doing here?" I grabbed his hoodie but he pushed me off and tried to swing at me. I grabbed both of his wrists, they were small, what? This isn't a guy...? They looked up at me and made eye contact with me. Green brown hazel eyes, with the moon reflecting off of them. It was a girl. She had long black curly eyelashes, it felt like time has stopped, like if her eyes were brighter than the moon. As if her eyes was a book filled with secrets; I was ready to read them. She looked... scared. Oh god! I was about swing at her. I let go of her wrist. She rubbed her wrist and pulled away from me. I have hurt her. She got up and ran away with a small limp on her left leg. I watched her leave.
"Why did I just let her go?" I questioned myself. I walked back to the wall, her painting wasn't done yet. Why did I scare her off before she finished the painting?
