I really did not mind having roommates. Hell, Linda was my best friend and Heather was interesting to say the least. We had our spats, and to lighten the mood, we would prank each other. We set our boundaries, and anytime anyone went too far, we had the "Too Far Jar" and you would have to put a dollar in. It was a good system.
I did not mind many of the pranks. I was a lighthearted individual. The only thing off limits was shower time. That was my time. Our bathroom was a bit odd, because our landlord was a cheap bastard, he had the lights in the bathroom on a crank timer. There was one by the door, one by the shower, max time 15 minutes. I took 15 minute showers max.
I had nothing to do that Saturday night, I figured a shower would be nice. So I cranked it, and started my shower time. The light goes out. I cranked up the light next to me. I only assumed I was taking a longer shower than usual. Then the lights went out again, and I heard giggling. This had smelled like a prank.
"ONE FOR THE TOO FAR JAR. YOU KNOW SHOWERS ARE OFF LIMITS." I remember shouting. I went to go flip the light again, and I froze. I stared at the form sitting on the bathroom sink. I recall how my heart dropped when I remembered that both Heather and Linda were out of town for the weekend.
